  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Dale L.: Kids are the pickiest eaters out there. They will cry in your face if you don't give them what they want.

    • Dale T.: Healthy food sucks. Unhealthy tastes good, but the kids are just going to be wired. I should have laced it up NyQuil or something, so they just pass out… Corn cake with NyQuil.

    • Dale L.: (after the teams have been divvied up) I'm really happy with the way that this team worked out, 'cause it's like the Spice Girls and a bodyguard versus all the cool guys and their babysitter, Carla.

    • Dale L.: Children kind of scare me. It's like I try to avoid kids. They're called brats for a reason.

    • Dale L.: I can probably make better dog biscuits than kid's stuff.

    • Dale L.: I grab pretzels and graham crackers and whoppers and marshmallow mix. Basically, I'm making crack for small children.

  • Notes

    • Both Tom and Gail mention in their blogs that they had met Joe Jonas at a White House reception while taping Top Chef's previous season in Washington. Joe made a point of telling them he was a big fan of the show, and was knowledgeable about cuisine, so they weren't at all surprised to learn that he was going to be asked to Guest Judge in this episode.

    • According to Tom's blog, after Tiffani and Spike made their choices, a Producer came and explained to them all in greater detail the parameters of the upcoming Challenge, so there's absolutely no way she could have gone into the kitchen and expected to find anything other than meat or dairy unless she and all of her teammates failed to pay attention to what they were told.

    • Tom defends Jamie's decision to get stitches in his blog at Bravo's website. According to him, she had never been cut badly enough to be told that she needed stitches before, so when the medic told her she'd be needing them, she was panicked a bit, and deferred to the medic's opinion.
