I think it was not as good as previous specials. They did not come up with interesting challenges, either. Also the mocking and playing jokes at each other was not as funny as it used to be.

For example they never showed what happened to the meat in James' car - did he find it? Was he angry?

It all seemed a bit too forced. I'm slightly disappointed.

Then again, they will probably never be able to beat the U.S. special anyway.

    Greetings,

    Frank

a challenge that big should have been a two parter. the episode felt very edited and compacted and i think a lot of the tomfoolery was cut out because of time reasons.

It wasn't as well executed as the America one, I agree it was edited way too much

quite enjoyed it myself. yeah it was edited badly and not as funny as the american special (which is probably the best episode they've ever had) but it didn't seem as scripted as the American one and I always quite enjoy epispdes where the challenge is tough (case in point- the race to the pole, not always the funniest but one of my favourites merely for the sheer scale and boldness of the remarkable challenge). Add in the wonderful scenary and you get another solid episode of Top Gear. Keep it up lads! 9.4/10
