Everyone made such a big deal out of Hammond's crash and condemed Top Gear. How about Fifth Gear who recently saw Tom Ford crash and break three toes? How come nobody says a word about that show? He rolled over a van and has to have an operation to pin them back.

Also, it's remained pretty quiet but Tiff Needel actually crashed a Bugatti Veyron during his stupid track testing. Bravo Fifth Gear

I didn't know any of that! But then the media in Britain always works to an agenda - look at the way they deal with the McCanns: two people who are clearly guilty of child neglect, yet the British media protects them against 'stupid foreigners' who 'dare' to question British people.

Good to hear Timothy crashed the Veyron, that should have wiped the smug grin off his dopey face. James May, on the other hand, drove it at maximum speed and didn't so much as scratch it - or break sweat. All hail the Captian.

well the new series on fg has started on five

and of course the producers thought lets rip off tg in every way

their own test track, a special fg only studio with the show logo all over

then they threw out the rule book and put tom ford and some new 'hip to be square' guy, could of at least had a shave.

tom ford smashing the new skoda superb windscreen with a hammer cos he was testing the quality ???

tiff saying the same old thing, in a different car

poor plato playing the stooge this man has more to give...

and vicky's usuall orgasmic road test....

and the lad in the mk6 golf patronising the viewers with talk of bread quality ????

Sounds like a massive pile of Top Gear Dog's breakfast - 20 minutes after it's been eaten. Smashing a windscreen to test the quality? Sounds very desperate indeed. I just can not bring myself to watch it.

Edit:I thought, as I'd just posted in this thread, I would pay a visit to the Fifth Gear guide. Jolly nice it is too. Apart from one rather poor spelling in the synopsis for the first episode in the new series:

"Tiff and Jason test drive the 2 craziest road vehicles in the planat".

    That went well...

Any errors you see in this guide; please submit corrections. Thank you.

I think you might get a biased sample in a forum about Top Gear.

Fifth Gear did have the best ever interview with Daniel Craig though, I'll say that for them.

    If nothing else........

Fifth gear should throw in the towel, the show is so boring, and is a cheap and bad and sad copy of top gear.

Did anyone see Ben Collins on Fifth Gear? I don't actually watch it. In fact, I couldn't even tell you which day it's broadcast.
