wow, 6 episodes is incredibly short, about half the length of their regular season, hopefully they have a shorter break this time round so theyre back before we know it.

I can confirm that there will be more episodes later on in the year, but I can't say how many or when. So have no fear this season may be short but there are more on the way in 2008

It's been done before. Series 9 (The one in which Hammond crashed the rocket car) had only 6 episodes too.

But that had a reason to only have 6 episodes. Now no one crashed anything..did they?

    Lol... yeah... I bet.

I'm off to eat swans with the queen now.

As long as the show isn't cancelled I will be content.

Well sorry but the biggest problem with having sources is you cannot reveal them, so people don't believe you, untill they find out much later that it was true. But ah well, no skin off my nose Besides why is it so hard to believe that someone on a Top Gear forum has there own sources lol, it isn't all that far fetched. You could ask Matt if you want (Editor). Though I'm sure he wonders himself how I get hold of the info I do. Come to that I sometimes wonder how he finds out stuff before I do lol. All a big mystery

You know the big mystery about the identity of the Stig? I've said too much already...

Lol the TV guide is so secretive nowadays.

The series is not really 6 episodes, this run may only be 6 episodes but that isn't counting the specials they do etc... I have no idea why it's so short, it's actually really stupid to make such a successful show have the shortest series out of all the shows on the BBC. Especially since they're paying Clarkson over GBP1m a year (the other 2 make GBP350 000).

Oh and as for the Stig, this photo was taken during the London race by a photographer with a very powerful flash turned on full:

I think from your ever so suttle hints you are taking the mick out of me lol. Even if I revealed my sources you wouldn't believe me lol. However if you are on facebook just look for the biggest top gear group on facebook (207,000+ members), I run that group.
