It's gotta be Jeremy. I guess it's cause I'm an American and we always love pr*cks.

Finally, this explains the election and re-election of George W. Bush.

No that's cause 1/4th of America is retarded and 1/4th can't think for themselves, and he didn't really get elected, he lost the popular vote. I guess this is where I start chanting U S A.

Oh dear God. That sure is a tough one. The only reason I voted for Clarkson is because I had to pick one. James I must say that was a surprise for me. He is better than I could ever imagine. He is smart and cultivated yet very funny and relaxed. Hammond is great and really knows how to handle teasing but the greatest about him is that he is fearless. Clarkson is inspiring refreshing hilarious but most of all a child in a grownups body, combining the "innocence" of a child the whit of a grownup and the grumpiness of a middle-aged man. As mermayd said I love the fact that he called his wife to find out how to put the seats down in the car that he owns and races with in the winter Olympics special. I love the fact that he hates so much hand labor. In general I would say that I like him I tiny bit more than the others, but I will have to agree with most of you that the truly great thing about this show is the chemistry between them!!!!

Gotta be James. I love how he's sort of the voice of reason among the three of them, even though his reasoning tends to be...slightly skewed. Heh. He's just really unassumingly funny.

Though, I honestly can't imagine the show without any one of them. It's their chemistry together that makes Top Gear so hilariously enjoyable.

my favourite has got to be jeremy, even though james may is hilarious, jeremy has the wit and the sarcasm to a t, this is the best set of presenters ever on top gear, the three of them do it good, i love the way james gets tormented by the other two, and hammond gets it for being small!! fantastic show!

I have to go for Jeremy because of his dry sense of humour and political incorrectness, I think

well i have some time to burn and saw this forum so.....

well they all have a brilliant relationship but to be honest though my fave out of the trio is JAMES MAY of course andthe reason for my choice are many but a few defining ones were when they him and HAMMOND were doing the cab thing on little bikes and picking up people from parties and driving them home nad his description of the french was something along the lines of " Nowi know most people just think of the french as a bunch ofpeasents and commmunists but they can build good cars."

P.S i don't hate the french by the way it was just a funny comment please can no1 lose their rag lol

They are a friendly bunch on this forum, ih8roadworks101, no-one will "lose thier rag" with you. And if they do, well, it's only the French after all.

Jeremy stands out the most, just. Can't really choose, they are all brilliant. I love Top Gear because of the humour and chemistry between the 3 of them. This show is soooo funny!

Come to think of it i'm not really all that interested in cars.

Love the Hamster too, he's cute.

With the proviso that without all three of them, the dynamic wouldn't work... or at least wouldn't be nearly asgreat, then I have to say:

James May. Without a doubt. The guy is an absolute crackup.

Captain Slow has the b@lls to be the slightly wierd bloke that thinks seemingly abstract thoughts that most of us actually ARE inside, but which society won't allow most of us to be.

Jeremy and Hamster are classics but James gives you the funny grin that says "dude....that's some weirdass stuff...but...I hear ya!"

And he's himself in front of a global audience of (reportedly) 350+ million people.

    Anyway, just my thoughts heh.
