    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Jeremy's race in a Fiat Panda against Mr. Muir is a result of a challenge from Christopher Ecclestone in Episode 3 of Series 6. He challenged Jeremy to a race along the London Marathon route with Clarkson in a car and Ecclestone on foot.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Jeremy Clarkson: Some say that he lives in a tree. And that his sweat can be used to clean precious metals. All we know is he's called the Stig.

      • Richard Hammond: In the early Sixties, Britain was changing. Motorways meant that people could travel further and faster. But there was a problem because vans were hopeless. Ford's best shot was the Thames: it was small; it was slow and it couldn't have handled much worse if you'd driven it on the actual Thames itself. And if you had a crash, the only crumple zone was your face.

      • Jeremy Clarkson: James can't do oversteer 'cause he thinks oversteer is a left-wing plot of some kind.
