Episode Summary

EDIT

The Toyota Aygo takes on the VW Fox. Not on the road, but on the football pitch. Jeremy takes the new Citroën C6 racing at Towcester and the Prodrive P2 supercar gets a thrash around the track.

Captain Slow is given a lesson in fast driving by three-times Formula 1 world champion Sir Jackie Stewart (who apparently isn't a woman).

Sir Michael Gambon is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

  • Hot to turn Captain Slow a racing driver?

That one was funny but you expect this from this serie.. That one had some really cool shots but again, you expect it again.. So what made this episode remarkable.. First thing that comes to my mind was the challenge they took with Jackie Stewart.. to get someone's lap time 20 second better.. and so they send the most hopeless one but I think he did good job and it was just so funny to watch..

And then the football with cars in the end. What a way to drive those cars and the energy in the game.. I liked it.moreless
  • A Show with two great Legends

    10
Top gear is usually a great show and full of laughs but this week was a very special episode with two great guests making it fantastic.

Firstly we got to see the Legend himself, Sir Jackie Stewart, teaching James May how to drive fast and knock 20 seconds of his best lap time, this he achieved with great ease, the man is just a legend even after making his understated helicoper entry.

Then just when you thought it couldn\'t get any better you have Sir Michael Gambon turn up to be a star in a reasonably priced car, he still can\'t get that last corner right however much he tries, he overshot it this time with spectacular effect, with all of this he still went 5 seconds faster in the new car.

Shame the show is going to be off the air for the next five weeks but we have to make way for the world cup. can\'t wait til the next show.moreless

    • Jeremy Clarkson: Some say that the outline of his left nipple is exactly the same shape as the Nürburgring. And that if you give him a really important job to do, he'll skive off and play croquet. All we know is he's called the Stig.

    • Jeremy Clarkson: Okay, did you forget to remember what the TVR was like?
James May: Well actually I rather liked it. You know in the old days the TVR you would of thought that's like a ticket to a festival of plastic death and I thought it was good. I thought it handled really well and Sir Jackie Stewart said it handled really well as well.
Richard Hammond: She's a discerning woman.

    • Jeremy Clarkson: I've got a text.
      Richard Hammond: From Kristin?
      Jeremy Clarkson: Yes.
      Richard Hammond: Really?
Jeremy Clarkson: Yes, here it is.
      Richard Hammond: Go on then.
Jeremy Clarkson: Uhh... hmm... It says you know about the restraining order, that includes texts, I'm calling the Police.
