This was probably my least favorite year in Top Gears history. I thought that the guys were just trying too hard to create stuff, instead of letting things happen. Too many of the shows became very scripted, instead of off the cuff. This episode was good, but it also felt prefabricated. I enjoyed it, especially James Mays riding with the woman who created the signs used on British roads, but it was hardly a hugely memorable episode.

I love this show, no matter what, and I am looking forward to season 15. I am just afraid that the boys might have finally reached the limit of the things they can talk about and the races they can have. Personally I think they should go to the U.S. again, and give a race there a try. Some very exotic supercars on American highways. Send them up highway one in California or down the eastern seaboard. Just avoid the south.moreless

    • Jeremy Clarkson: Some say that he has to take off his shoes with an Allen key. And that his New Year's resolution is to eat fewer mice. All we know is, he's called the Stig. Edit
    • James May: Now if you're a proper car bore, you will know that anything wearing a 'VXR' badge - I have one here, on the steering wheel - is part of Vauxhall's turbo-nutter A.S.B.O. range. And so it turns out. Edit
