If one counts Heather's victory, then she has outlasted all of the contestants at one point.
If one counts Alejandro's victory, then every contestant that has competed in all of the first three seasons have been eliminated three times.
The title is a reference to the drink Hawaiian Punch.
The alternate ending for this episode was shown on the Cartoon Network's website. In it, Heather accidentally throws Alejandro's statue into the volcano, making him the winner. This was used in the Canadian broadcast of the show.
The confessional for this episode is inside a wooden outhouse.
Both of Alejandro's helpers were former Killer Grips.
This is the first time in the series that the million dollars is actually seen. In all other instances, the case it was contained in was never opened.
This is the second season where the prize money is destroyed. This also makes Duncan the first season winner to have his winning money perfectly intact.
The new robotic body that Alejandro is given after the ending credits looks just like the Drama Machine from the Celebrity Manhunt's Total Drama Action Reunion Special.
As Alejandro is questioning wearing a coconut bra, the beginning of Who You Gonna Root For? can be heard.
The million dollars is shown in green bills. This either means that the case was full of Canadian twenty dollar bills, or American money was used for the scene. The highest denomination of Canadian bills, the hundred dollar bill, is brown in color.
This is the first episode of Total Drama history that has scenes after the final credits.
Alejandro's helpers for the challenge were Lindsay and Courtney while Heather's helpers were Cody and Harold.
In this episode, Alejandro admits that he hated it when Owen kept calling him Al because his older brother Jose used to call him that to annoy him.
Heather: YES! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! (Heather jumps in victory)
Chris McLean: And that's a cool million for Heather! The winner of Total... Drama... World Tour! (the eliminated contestants start to cheer)
Cody: Ha! Take that, Al!
This is the first season finale in which the Canadian winner is not the same as the American winner.
This episode first aired on the Cartoon Network on November 15, 2010 (premiere).
Heather is the winner of Total Drama World Tour in the Latin American and U.S. broadcasts. Alejandro is the winner of Total Drama World Tour in the Canadian broadcast.
The scene at the end where Alejandro becomes the new drama-meter is a reference to the scene from the Star Wars film Revenge of the Sith when Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader.
Lord Of The Rings:
The scene where Ezekiel is fighting Heather for the money on top of the volcano and fell into the volcano with the money is a parody to when Gollum fought Frodo for the ring inside Mount Doom at the end of the third and final Lord of the rings movie Return of the King.
