Leviathan was a perfect series finale of Touch and I really enjoyed watching. The story picked right up and the characters followed their paths to completion, mostly. It was heart racing excitment as Martin tracked down Amelia and Jake. Avrim learned the truth of why he was being held and more info about The 36 is revealed. Calvin was confronted with choices and though he was generally good his ending wasn't as happy. I was ok with this because it balanced out the outcomes for other characters like Nicole and her company. This has been such an amazing show and a delightful viewing pleasure. Everything wrapped up nicely and I'm glad the series completed on it's own terms. I'll definitely recommend others to watch!!!!!!!!!

  • Good ending

    8.5
Thankfully the show ended in a way that was acceptable. It had/has so much potential, there is so much we don't know yet. But the creators regrettably did not make that promise come true. Leviatahan took big steps getting to the end. The best was the glove in the car (why would one forget it?). It made me think of an old Batman episode where Robin found a fish in a building and suggested they should go to the harbour (where of course the bad guys were). Batman replied to him: "Good thinking Robin".moreless
  • The second season (and the series) ends with Martin determined to take down Aster Corp and rescue Jake and Amelia.

    9.0
"Leviathan" is in my opinion the best episode of "Touch". It not only brought the season to a satisfying conclusion, it did the same for the series as a whole. I saw a few echoes of "24" in this episode when Martin "interrogates" one of Aster Corp's hired thugs. That aside I felt this episode to be well written and very entertaining. The best thing about it was that there are no loose ends. Everything has been resolved. That's the way I believe it should be even if Fox had decided to give "Touch" a third season. It would have been nice to see Martin and Jake's further adventures with Amelia in tow. It's unfortunate Fox does not agree with my opinion. Regardless, "Touch" was a show worth your time.moreless
  • A Satisfying Resolution and A Glimmer of what Could have been.

    9.0
I was pretty apprehensive in watching in this episode as I saw the news on here that Fox cancelled Touch, and was afraid there was going to be a freaking cliffhanger that would piss me off knowing I would never get a resolution. But to my surprise everything wrapped up nicely with a bow and there still was a small cliffhanger but nothing that would causing me to have to sleepless nights wracking my brain about what could have been.

I wish Fox would have at least given Touch a third season so the characters could have been fleshed out even more and I would love to have seen Amelia get back with her dad. It seemed Tim Kring must have seen the Grim Reaper coming for his show to have wrapped up the main story thread for Season 2 in 'Leviathan'. It was actually a very good episode for a 'series finale' and I feel very gratified watching compared to other shows that were cancelled prematurely ahem 'Firefly' and 'Dark Angel'.

Touch provided a great opportunity for Kiefer to step out of the shoes of Jack Bauer and into a new role and I believe he really came into the character and I especially loved the nod to Jack with tonight's torture scene but now it looks like Kiefer will be stepping back into Jack Bauer's boots again with the announced possibility of a 24 Mini-Series whoo hoo!!

Like I mentioned earlier I would love to have seen a 3rd Season of Touch but to anyone who's on the fence about watching this episode take the dive and enjoy!!!moreless
  • Great finish to the show.

I didn't think they could wrap up the show in 1 episode from last week, but they pulled it off well. Would have liked to see jake start talking before the show finished but oh well.

Sad to see it finish but its a show i will re-watch sometime in the future definitely.

On a better note, 24 is returning :)
