This episode uses the infamous 1938 "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast to frame the story of a aging writer who has lost the will to live following the death of his wife.
This episode was broadcast in Nov 1996, just a couple of months before Brian Keith died (24 June 1997) and shows him in good form. The part is not a large one, however, as the episode focuses mostly on the young Leonard experiences during the Orson Welles radio show.
The episode has a clever ironic twist. Right after telling a real angel (Monica) to leave him alone, young Leonard accepts comfort from the youngster dressed like an angel, the same girl who is destined to become his wife.
