  • Monica becomes a homeless person so she can learn to identify with them.

One of my top ten TBAA episodes. A true message of charity and kindness permeates throughout the entire episode. Poignant and touching with an inspiring message. The scene where Monica washes Gregory Harrison\'s feet is never to be forgotten!! TBAA at its best! It also has a supporting cast that is stellar with top notch production values as well. I my opinion this is the best first season episode of TBAA. I cannot wait until all nine seasons are released on DVD. This is a program that is timeless. Today\'s garbage TV could learn a few lessons from TBAA. Superb!moreless
  • What Touched by an Angel is all about.

In this episode, Monica's assignment is to help a strong-willed man, down on his luck and living on the streets. What I liked about the episode is how Tess tells her how she is going to help Pete out.

When Monica learns about her new assignment, she thinks that she is just going to go help him out by learning why Pete is on the street while she still has her powers. The one thing that I liked about this part of the episode was the spunk that Tess had when she told her Angel friend that the only way she was going to truly learn about living on the streets and Pete's situation was the same way Pete did; by actually living like a homeless individual.

With that aside, what I truly liked about this episode was how it showed a little glimpse of what it is like to live on the streets and how they are treated by individuals who have a place to live and job to go to everyday. Another thing that I enjoyed about the episode was how Monica, with her innocent questioning and naive outlook on the lives that humans live, was able to help out not only Pete, but also two other individuals, Sophie and Zack, see that while they are out on the street and should look after themselves, it is alright to help out others who are in the same situation they are in.

In all, I really enjoyed this episode of Touched by an Angel. I thought it was a great example of how helping others, no matter what their situation is, can help an individual in trying to get past their past problems.moreless
