When Ian explores the Rooks chamber and is talking to Gabe, Ian's preflexes warn him that Jeremy is going to enter the room. However, Jeremy, who is shown at this point to have equal or superior reflexes, doesn't get a similar warning that Ian is on the other side of the door, and is surprised to see him.
Gabe: Bros just need a place where they can, like, chill and hang with the bros.
Suki: Big talk from a bro who plays with dolls.
Gabe: Okay, whoa whoa. Okay, uncalled-for. She doesn't know what she's talking about. Senor Guapo is an action figure. He just happens to have button eyes... and a cute squashy bottom.
CJ: Why not?
Headmaster: Because dances are a distraction.
CJ: Or a perfect opportunity for us to round out our first-rate educational experience by practicing our social skills--assimilation, etiquette, uh...
Headmaster: Hand-eye coordination?

Ian: You look like Velma from Scooby Doo.
Referencing Velma Dinkley, the intellectual young woman who is a member of the Scooby Gang in various incarnations of the animated Scooby Doo series as well as the live-action movies. Velma is best known for her distinctive hair style, orange/brown ensemble, near-sightedness, and the fact she usually solves the mysteries.
Jeremy: "Quote the raven, 'Nevermore.'"
Referencing Edgar Allan Poe's 1845 poem "The Raven." In it, an unnamed narrator laments the loss of his lover, Lenore, and is visited by a talking raven that taunts him. The only word the raven can or will say is "Nevermore."
