  • This is a prime example of contradiction and taking one's own advice.

I've never really watched the show before but I caught a few episodes on VH1. I think that Alyse (not sure how to spell her name) needs to relax. She is very judgemental. She is the one that is trying to push religion and God onto people. When she should be taking her own advice and follow in God's footsteps. God accepts everyone for who they are and he does not judge. She needs a little dose of what she keeps shoving down other people's throats. I feel bad for her husband. She obviously does not include him in any family activity and does not even try to get him to participate. But I think she likes it that way. She tries to be in charge of everyone. I feel bad for her girls too. They are beautiful girls and I think that their mother is way too picky. It looks like their lives are boring. You can still be religious and follow God's word and still have some fun in your life. She thinks that she is family oriented and that they do everything together but if Tim is not included and you purposely exclude him, then your not doing things as a family. Barbara was very right to try to include Tim in the activities of the family. I think that she and her husband can raise their child however they want. Especially when they all seem happy. Barbara is the one the was not judgemental and seemed to follow the Golden Rule and how God would want you to act more than Alyse. I felt bad for Barbara when the grandmother was shoving the Bible down her throat and making her feel uncomfortable just because she wasn't exactly like them. It's wrong and they of all people should know that.
