  • TRIVIA (7)

    • Mike Smith the guy who plays Bubbles actually plays guitar in real life, he even used to have a band.

    • Apart from being a title of a Rush song, Closer To the Heart is the song Bubbles asks Alex for help on learning at the end of the episode.

    • A banner at the concert shows the members of Rush's pictures, with their names underneath. Geddy (Lee) and Neil (Peart) are correct, but under Alex's picture the name reads 'Brad Pitt'.

    • Alex tells Bubbles "I dunno, you can't just get up there and do it, it's a tough gig", referring to being his guitar tech. But Randy won the contest and was going to do the very same thing, since he had no experience with guitars or Rush's music.

    • Alex Lifesons hotel room number is 2112, the title of their 1976 release.

    • It was the day before the concert MR. Lahey Most likely bought 100- 1000 tickets, not upwards of 20 000 (Still that would be very expensive)

    • Bubbles: Oh, no big deal at all, Ricky just went and "stole" a human being.

    • Ricky: Lets go, no f*cking around here. Say a word about this I'm gonna to tell everyone you sexually assaulted me, cops and everything.
Alex: Come on, give me a break.
Ricky: Come with me just take it easy were just gonna go for a little drive. Hotel security this man is drunk as f*ck, he's on drugs.
Woman at Desk: Um, what is going on here?
Ricky: He's a male prostitute. And I'm gonna escort him out of here.

    • Ricky: Look, I'm not kidnapping you, I'm just borrowing you for a bit, OK?

    • Ricky: Hey, play I Like to Rock.
      Alex: That's April Wine.
Ricky: Then play that Diane Sawyer song.
