This has to be my all time favourite episode. The entire time Bubbles was controlling Conky, or should i Say Conky controlling Bubbles, I couldn't stop laughing. The things that came out of his mouth where so halarious. The best part is when he sings at the end to Julian, calling him Patrick Swayze. Also, Ricky sees purple squirrels when he is hallucinating from the rag attached to his nose.

This episode was so cleverly written and I suggest that everyone watch this episode.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Bubbles: Ricky you could be dope man, smoke a pound in a single bound.

    • Ricky: Boys, what the f*ck is up with me getting shot with three darts, and it didn't even affect me? I must be like a superhero or something.
Julian: Maybe you've got so much dope in your system, you're immuned, Rick.
Bubbles: Well, if that's the case, then Julian, he is like a superhero. Holy f*ck, Ricky, you know who you are? You're Dope-Man! He can smoke a pound in a single bound.

    • Conky: Ohhhhh.. myyyy Julian....... my handsome Julian Patrick Swayze you were so f**king sexy in Roadhouse and f**king Dirty Dancing.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Bubbles relationship with Conky is almost exactly the same as the Batman villain Ventriloquist & Scarface.

The Ventriloquist (Arnold Wesker) is a quiet, peaceful, mild mannered older man who is actually a schizophrenic. But with his dummy ScarFace, he is a vicious ruthless criminal.

  • ALLUSIONS (4)

    • Bubbles: Ohhhhh.... myaaayy Julian..... my handsome Julian Patrick Swayze you were so f*cking sexy in Roadhouse and f*** Dirty Dancing.

Just as Bubbles had sang the Raveen song to Ricky, he sings this snippet to the tune of the Righteous Brothers' ballad "Unchained Melody," referring to the famous romantic scene from "Ghost" (1990) in which Patrick Swayze romances Demi Moore over a pottery wheel. Of course "Roadhouse" (1989) and "Dirty Dancing" (1987) were other Swayze vehicles from the same period.

    • Ricky: What the F*ck! Julian it must be the fumes, I'm hallucinating man, it looks like Bubbles has got wings on his back and he's strangling Mike Bullard.

Mike Bullard is a Canadian comedian who hosted Canada's first truly successful nightly talk show. "Open Mike" (1997-2004) was a late night talk show broadcast live before a studio audience in downtown Toronto's legendary Masonic Temple.

    • Bubbles: "Ohhhhh.... myaaayy Julian..... my handsome Julian Patrick Swayze you were so f*cking sexy in Roadhouse and fucking Dirty Dancing"

    • Conky: "He's the f*ckin' man they call... Reveen"

Reveen refers to "The Impossiblist" Peter Reveen, who toured across Canada for over 35 years with a magic / hypnosis based show. The tune that Conky says that quote is the same way it was sang in TV ads for Reveen's stage show (though Conky added the "f*ckin""), which were quite well know up to the late 80's.
