  • Megatron has control of Arcee with Shockwave's help and hopes to gain the access codes to take control of the Autobots greatest weapon.

This was another solid episode. While not as spectacular as the last few, it had its moments of brillance. Megatron with the help of Shockwave and Lugnut, created clones of Omega Supreme and used Lugnut's personality to shape the clones into being perfectly loyal subjects. His first plan of attack with his newfound power is to seek revenge on the Autobots on Earth. The Autobots sent Bumblebee to spy on the Decepticons to learn of Megatron's plan of attack and to learn the whereabouts of Arcee. Starscream creates mistrust among the ranks by comparing Shockwave's and Lugnut's loyalty to Megatron and while chaos ensued, he snuck off to his ship on the moon and reconstructed himself a new body using a protoform. Megatron learned of this plot and destroyed the remainder of the clones but allowed Starscream to live while he completes his ultimate plan to wipe out the Autobots and take control of Cybertron. One shocking part to this episode was Megatron using his arm cannon and apparently taking Starscream offline for his treachery in trying to take control of Omega Supreme. He was literally blown to pieces.

The most interesting aspect of this episode was the backstory of Optimus and how he was expelled from the Elite Guard (thanks to Sentinel) yet still gained the ranking "Prime" designation. In addition, it showed a bit of Prowl's backstory and how he ended up with Optimus Prime's maintenance bot crew. This episode also featured a nice cameo of the female Starscream clone. What I had issues with was Starscream's head having the mobility to leave Omega Supreme and gain access to his ship on the Moon. It was a bit too far-fetched but the episode was still solid and entertaining. With 3 Lugnut/Omega clones on their way towards Earth, it will be interesting to see if Optimus puts aside his doubts and uses the Magnus Hammer.
