Ratchet: You may have Omega Supreme, but he would never attack Cybertron!
Shockwave: That's the beauty of activation codes, they wipe clean all of that unpleasant morality.
Shockwave: You're fighting rather bravely, for nothing more then a selved piece of empty hardware.
Ratchet: She's got a name: Arcee! And if you think you can bring her back, maybe I can, too!
Shockwave: How noble. Pity you'll never get the opportunity to find out!
Captain Fanzone: You know this thing?!
Ratchet: Not personally, but we're about to get real familiar.
The Autobot Rattletrap is a homage to the Maximal Rattrap, from the Beast Wars series. His robot mode greatly resembles Rattrap's Cybertronian mode from the "Fun Publications" comic strip "Dawn of Future's Past."
The Red Scare
The propaganda film Sentinel Prime broadcasts over Cybertron, warning the Autobots that their comrades could be Decepticon spies, is similar to the the anti-communism films created during the "Red Scare" of the 1940s and 1950s, which warned people that their friends and neighbors could be communists.
