Rodimus Prime: You'll have to get through me, Decepti-creep!
Oilslick: You say that as if it's difficult, Autobot.
Isaac Sumdac: Please, Sari. I know you have no reason to trust me right now, but I love you, and I miss you so much.
Headmaster: Attention, Burger-Bot customers. Clean-up of a "so sappy, it makes me wanna hurl" moment in the parking lot! Snack-time's over, noobs. Prepare for T.O.T.: Total ownage time!
Bumblebee: We've gotta warn the big brass bots back on Cybertron that there's a Decepticon spy in their midst!
Optimus Prime: Maybe we should have Bulkhead try to repair Megatron's Space Bridge. Apparantly, he's quite the Space Bridge genius.
Bumblebee: "Bulkhead" and "genius" in the same sentence? I'll never get used to that!
Sari: Okay, I'm waiting.
Isaac Sumdac: Um, uh, yes. Well...
Sari: Still waiting.
Isaac Sumdac: It is... complicated.
Sari: "Hey Sari, guess what? You're a robot." How complicated is that?!
Hot Shot: I'm hit! Medic!
Red Alert: Hang in there, soldier! (scans his leg) The damage is too severe. I'm gonna have to amputate.
Hot Shot: What?!
Red Alert: Don't worry. Cybertron service will issue a replacement leg within six to eight solar cycles.
Hot Shot: Uh, can't I get a second opinion?
Judd Nelson reprises the role of Rodimus Prime from The Transformers: The Movie.
Starscream's AllSpark fragment gives him the power to generate a sonic scream, an ability mentioned in he original toy bio.
Oil Slick, the Decepticon motorcycle, was part of the first wave of toys from Transformers Animated. Because he was never revealed to the animation crew, he was not added in the series until now. Also, he is the only character, up to now, that has a different background than his toy bio.
Kevin Michael Richardson does not reprise his role as the voice of Omega Supreme. Phil LaMarr, the voice of Jazz, voices him instead.
The shape of Rodimus Prime's head crest, and his proficiency with a bow and arrow, are traits reminiescent of the Marvel Comics character Hawkeye.
The way in which Sari is revealed to be a robot is similar to the way that the Red Ranger, Mack, is revealed to be a robot from Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive.
During the opening battle, Rodimus is infected with cosmic rust from a container tossed at him by Oil Slick. Cosmic rust originated in the classic 1984 Transformers episode "Cosmic Rust" as a metal-eating micro-organism that could affect Transformers. Oil Slick's use of the substance is likely a reference to his appearance and actions in the third issue of "The Arrival" comic series by IDW.
