This is the first time one of the Dinobots besides Grimlock is named, Scrapper names the Triceratops Snarl, stating he originally wanted to call him "Slag" but took it offensive. This matches how the Triceratops Dinobot from the original series was named Slag and the same would be for the Animated incarnation, but because "Slag" is used as an expletive, the name was changed to "Snarl".
Among the patrons at Burger Bot are an animated version of Marty Isenberg, the series' head writer, and people resembling the Transformers: Super-God Masterforce characters Hydra and Cancer.

Among the upgrades on Lockdown's ship is a blue weapon that resembles the shoulder cannons of Soundwave's from the original 'Transformers' series.
Goof: When Jetfire tumbles and lands near Bumblebee, Jazz is where his Jetstorm should be standing. However, Jazz is still with Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime and Ratchet.
