When Shockwave transforms into Longarm, he retains his purple color scheme, rather then using his alternate colors.
This marks the first time that Megatron has ever referred to Optimus Prime by his name.
Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Bulkhead, Prowl, Sari Sumdac and Isaac Sumdac do not appear in this episode. This episode also marks the final appearance of Captain Fanzone in this series.
Final appearance of Blitzwing.
The helmets given to the Liar Starscream and the Sycophant Starscream by Swindle give them an even greater resemblence to the original series' Ramjet and Sunstorm.
Swindle mentions Quintessa, the Quintessons and Nebulos, all from the original Transformers series. Similarly, he mentions the planet Pz-Zazz, which was featured in Issue #62 of the Marvel Comics Transformers series.
Members of the Substitute Autobots:
This is the first time one of the Dinobots besides Grimlock is named, Scrapper names the Triceratops Snarl, stating he originally wanted to call him "Slag" but took it offensive. This matches how the Triceratops Dinobot from the original series was named Slag and the same would be for the Animated incarnation, but because "Slag" is used as an expletive, the name was changed to "Snarl".
Among the patrons at Burger Bot are an animated version of Marty Isenberg, the series' head writer, and people resembling the Transformers: Super-God Masterforce characters Hydra and Cancer.
Goof: When Wasp is running off and Swoop comes in and grabs him, he has an Autobot symbol on his chestplate. However, it should have been faded because he has had a faded symbol since returning to Earth.
Among the upgrades on Lockdown's ship is a blue weapon that resembles the shoulder cannons of Soundwave's from the original 'Transformers' series.
Goof: When Jetfire tumbles and lands near Bumblebee, Jazz is where his Jetstorm should be standing. However, Jazz is still with Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime and Ratchet.
The Constructicons seem to have regained the memories they lost in Rise of the Constructicons since they refer to Bulkhead as 'Bulkie' and declare that they "don't work for no stinkin' Autobots anymore."
Goof: In 'A Bridge Too Close, Part I' Blurr was able to fit a pair of Stasis Cuffs on Lugnut easily. But in this episode, the Autobots required two sets of Cuffs, linked together, in order for them to fit.
Once again, the Headmaster unit is seen changing expressions. When Headmaster tries to get Starscream's body to roll over, there is a frown on the unit's face.
Both Cartoon Network and YTV's original airings of this episode had something interrupting the end credit scene. However, Cartoon Network's reairings of this episode did properly display the end credit scene.
