  • Wasp returns to take revenge on "Bumblebot".

This may very well be my favorite episode so far. Wasp returns, as does Sentinel and Jazz. Plus, we are introduced to the Jet-Twins. Well, when I say "we". I mean us who haven't read the comic book that came with their toys. The episode is kind of like "Face/Off". Yes, it's the good old "identity switch". Wasp was funny, but also really creepy. Especially in the beginning of the episode when he attacks Bumblebee. The Jet-Twins, Jetfire and Jetstorm were really cool. I wish they were SafeGuard for more than 10 seconds though. And their accents are...well, what are they supposed to be? Hispanic? Russian? Persian? Nevertheless, their accents are cool.

There were many great moments in the episode. Bumblebee proving his real identity by refering to the events in "Autoboot Camp". For some reason, this makes Bulkhead sound like a sqeeky toy. But it was funny. The stuff at the end with Ultra Magnus was kind of shocking, even if I knew it was going to happen. And of course, Wasp. He's just awesome. Sadly, he didn't get his Beast mode in this one. But that's fine. I assume it's going to happen in "Predacons Rising". Yeah, all in all, a fantastic episode. Loved every single second of it.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Goof: When Jetfire tumbles and lands near Bumblebee, Jazz is where his Jetstorm should be standing. However, Jazz is still with Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime and Ratchet.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Shockwave: (Leaving a message to Megatron) If the Elite Guard is able to contact Optimus and his crew on Earth, my cover will be blown any nanosecond. If you receive this message, know that I am taking matters into my own servos. Shockwave out.

    • Optimus Prime: Prowl! Bulkhead! Step away from Wasp. Innocent or not, he may still be a threat.
Bulkhead: Oh it's okay, it's really Bumblebee. I know because I knocked a building on Sentinel and he told me!

    • Sentinel Prime: I don't have time to listen to your lame excuses, Optimus, I have an Autobot traitor to find.
Optimus Prime: Oh, you mean the one you just let get away?

    • Wasp: Alright, you caught Wasp! But Wasp was good bot once, until Bumblebot ruined Wasp!
Bulkhead: No, Wasp. You were always mean to me and Bumblebee. You may not be a traitor, but you were never a good bot.

    • Wasp: (As Bumblebee) Me, an imposter? Sarge, you remember in boot camp, when I dropped all those oil barrels on top of you?
      Sentinel Prime: No.
Wasp: What about when I exploded a box of pink paint in your face?
      Sentinel Prime: Nuh-uh.
Wasp: How about when I broadcasted all those horrible things you said about Ultra Magnus over the loudspeaker?
Sentinel Prime: No, it doesn't jog my cir... Wait a nanoclick, that was you?!

    • Jazz: So hit me with that one more time. A robot in disguise swaps metal with a double agent who's really on the level?
Bulkhead: Makes even less sense when you say it.

    • Optimus Prime: (About Sentinel Prime) How do you put up with him?
Jazz: I just tune out half of everything he spits up.
      Optimus Prime: Only half?

    • Bumblebee: Wasp! What are you doing here?
Wasp: Oh, not much. Just seeking revenge on the bot who ruined Wasp's life!

    • Where Is Thy Sting?:
The episode title Where Is Thy Sting? is a reference to 1 Corinthians 15:55.

In the background of Bumblebee's fighting game is a face on a screen that resembles Torque III, a supercomputer that appeared in the original Transformers series episode "Day of The Machines".
