Middle school students Rad, Carlos and Alexis are shocked to discover the existence of large robots in their hometown. When they accidentally awaken these Transformers, an evil Decepticon named Megatron chases after them.

First Encounter is a fantastic way of starting a new series of Transformers. The episode shows what the Transformers look like before they get Earth vehicles. First appearence of Megatron and Optimus Prime is a good way of introducing the Transformers, and brings out the side of them. This episode is a good way to get into Transfomers: Armada, compared to some of the other episodes. This episode also deserves more then a basic 10, it should be worth atleast a 10+. I would recommand this episode to be seen.moreless
