So here we have it, yet another great Armada episode where the story moves forward.
This episode is the first in the Unicron trilogy to introduce the concept that Unicron can create anomolies in the fabric of space and time, a theme that will happen once again in the next episode, Energon and Cybertron.
Also this episode is the introduction of Overload, his origins aren't clear, he might have been constructed by the Autobots or maybe by the Mini cons but he just appears anyway.
Five characters gain a powerlinx upgrade, it's not made clear how it's better but Megatron makes reference to it giving him more power, he also uses the name Galvatron.
Most surprisingly was Starscream referencing his powerlinx upgrade to making him look like Thundercracker - a character who would appear later during Cybertron.moreless

    • If you listen closely, after Optimus asks Hot Shot if it was his decision to bring the kids along, Hot Shot calls Optimus 'sire' instead of 'sir'. Edit
    • Hotshot and Red Alert said that they were transported to the other side of the universe but the Autobots and Decepticons found the planet in a hour or two. This must be a translation error. Edit
    • Isn't it weird that Starscream only got ONE wing sliced off but when his color is changing, he's covered in huge gashes, both wings appear crumbled off, etc. Edit
  • Notes

    ADD NOTES
    • The Transformers in this episode weren't upgraded, they were repaired with a side-effect that repainted their armor. Edit
    • In the Japanese version, Megatron was upgraded to powerlinx Megatron not Galvatron. He didn't change his name to Galvatron till the start of Superlink. Edit
    • Starscream refereres himself to looking like Thundercracker, which in the original Transformers there was a Starscream; Thundercracker and Skywarp all three were known as the 'Seekers' Edit
