Transmetal Rhinox appears in this episode when the Transformers were taking off in their fighters to battle Unicron.
In the earlier episode Detection, Sideways is seen reporting to Unicron obviously, BUT if Sideways is Unicron, why is he going through all the trouble to report to himself?
The basic answer is that it has been oversimplified. Sideways was created by Unicron, and hence is a PART of him, but it's very clear that he acts independantly of him and his his own personality, and his own voice. He is afraid of Unicron discovering his failure in "Chase," and reports in to him in "Detection," and even in this episode, when he's dying, he speaks with his own voice and refers to Unicron as a separate entity. It is also possible it's a translation error.
At one point, Optimus is coloured in his Powerlinx colours, before he's actually upgraded into his Powerlinx form. It's not immediately obvious, as it seems that it could be a shading/light problem, but he has red eyes in this scene, like his Powerlinx form, rather than his usual yellow.
By the end of the episode, Galvatron is back to his regular color scheme.
In "Sacrifice," Sideways told Thrust: "There can never be peace in this universe. There must always be war." Well, that line makes sense now!
Throughout this entire episode, when Demolisher talks his voice sounds just like Hoist.
Side Swipe has a Decepticon tone to his voice.
Overload being called Ultra Magnus is the same as when Tidal Wave was constantly being called Shockwave.
Ultra Magnus is also the name of the Overload repaint in the Energon line.
Prime calls Overload "Ultra-Magnus"
Highwire calls 1 of the Mini-Con weapons "Perceptor"
When the kids discuss about the weapon Mini-Cons, Fred says Auto Blaster. He was supposed to say Requiem Blaster.
Before Thrust died, he was standing on an orange part of Unicron. But then later, he was standing on a smokey teal or turqiouse part of Unicron... then back on orange.
In this episode, Demolishor is consistently voiced by Dale Wilson (Smokescreen/Hoist). At one point, Optimus Prime actually calls Demolishor "Hoist," and Alvin Sanders (the regular voice of Demolishor) can be heard delivering one line in a group shot, so he was not indisposed - the English scriptwriter actually thought Demolishor was Hoist.
So we've seen Swindle, Blackout, and we can guess that Leader-1 is around 'cause Galvatron is seen in full-blast-mode, so what happened to Longarm and Jolt?
Longarm and Jolt risked their lives to change hot shot and the others to new forms.(Red armor)
Once again, Starscream has managed to come up with another name for his shoulder mounted cannons. In this episode, he calls it the "proton cannon"... well at least THIS name sounds understandable.
At one point where Hot Shot and Wheeljack confront Thrust and Sideways, Wheeljack's face is gray, but after that, it is yellowish-orange.
At the beginning of the episode, Demolisher had a purple Autobot symbol on him.
Some shots of Galvatron were closely similar to the Megatron in Episode 39 "Crisis."
In Japan, the Autobots are called Cybertrons and the Decepticons are called Destrons. Their home planet is called Seibertron. This is yet another example of a slip-up in the dubbing.
