The episode begins with a report from Red Alert. Red Alert is afraid to tell Optimus about Hot Shot's modifications. This is surprising because Red Alert seems to be the type of bot who's obey the rules or bust. Then we see Red Alert almost break the rules to save a fellow bot from Ransack and Crumplezone, yet the bot called Dirtboss decides to join the Decepticons when Override ends up assisting him.
Next we see that the seal of Atlantis is beginning to appear all over the place, and the Autobots have civilian bots searching for them. Thundercracker ends up damaging one of the civilians which leads Optimus and company to the rescue. They repair it her and find out the second Cyber Key Planet coordinates: Jungle Planet.
Over on Jungle Planet we see that Megatron and Starscream have found a temple, but it's guarded by three beast bots: Scourge, Snarl, and Underride. This leads Megatron to tell them about his mission, but who's side will they end up joining.
Back on Earth Optimus and Vector Prime are opening the coordinates for Jungle Planet when Thundercracker reappears. He attacks just after Overhaul has entered the dimensional gate and just before Landmine does. Vector Prime gets damaged making it where the gate can't be reopened, and Overhaul is left on his own. Meanwhile Scattershot drives off Thundercracker by shooting Optimus' cannons at him.
Realizing that he's alone, Overhaul contacts Earth, but to much interference forces him to begin driving higher in the land to try t get a clean reception. On the way, he sees Starscream headed back to Earth, but Starscream's flight has caused an earthquake to occur and Overhaul is left hanging on for dear life above a pit of lava.
Back on Earth Optimus gets contacted as a submarine Autobot civilian has found another seal of Atlantis at the bottom of the ocean, and the episode ends with not one, but two cliffhangers. Is this seal the real one? Will Overhaul survive? The answers will be revealed next week on Cybertron.
