Hands down for me, the Aerialbots. They work well as a team and can really are one of the best teams around.

"Wait! The Constructicons form Devastator, the most powerful robot! We should rule!" "Soundwave superior. Constructicons inferior." "Who are you calling 'Inferior'?" "Nobody would follow an uncharismatic bore like you!" [Here comes Rumble, Frenzy, Ravage, Ratbat, and Lazerbeak] Rumble: "Hey! Nobuddy calls Soundwave uncrozimatic!" Frenzy: "Yeah! Let's kick tailgate!" Long Haul: "CONSTRUCTICONS UNITE!!"

    I always liked Computron.

What can I say, I was a geek when I was 12, and still a geek now that I'm 33.

The Technobots for me. Their combined form was pretty *ahem* "robotic" but individually they were quite varied and had by far the most trigger-happy autobot Afterburner.

My favorite Autobot combiner would have to be Superion and the Aerialbots. For reasons why, I direct you to the episode "War Dawn." My favorite Decepticon combiner would be Devastator and the Constructicons. They were the first and Megatron's answer to the Dinobots. If only they had an episode where Devastator and Superion went at it for 15 rounds.

For me it's a tie between the Constructicons and the Combaticons. Those two teams were always my favorites.

I vote for the Predacons, just because they form Predaking. Predaking has the best "look" out of any of the combiners (both in animated and toy versions). Went solely on appearance, here.

I stated earlier that I loved Devastator , but there's another Gestalt that bears mentioning here - one from the more recent series : RailRacer. He was pretty bad to the bone.

The Stunticons and Aerialbots. I liked the way they "broke the mould" for both sides.
