Episode Summary

EDIT
With Megatron assumed dead, Starscream seizes power and does things his way. Naturally, only the Autobots benefit from his 'command' style. This also gives Bumblebee and Spike time to relax with Chip Chase. They end up getting involved in a scientist's new anti-matter experiments. Unfortunately, Megatron is back and again in charge of the Deceptions. It turns out that he has big plans for the anti-matter, meaning big trouble for everyone, especially Chip.moreless

  • The wheelchair-bound character Chip is introduced and he becomes the third most important human ally to the Autobots.

Human scientists are developing anti-matter with the help of the boy-genius, Chip Chase, and Megatron wants it of course. Some good battle scenes in this episode and nice to see a human as the hero for once. Still, it was pretty far-fetched and was yet another episode where Megatron finds a new source of ultimate power. Always fun seeing Megatron go into gun form and the rest of the Decepticons firing him. Some people don't like Megatron as a gun but I always thought that it was kind of a cool transformation and this creates several plot devices in the future. Again, not a terribly good episode, but good for character development.moreless
  • Super-Megatron.

    8.4
Well, Megatron is more tough than he seems. He returns from Cibertron to defeated again by the Autobots. I don´t know nothing about phisics, but can really the antimatter be developed? Can it be maded? And can it be overheaed? All the information I have about it is that the antimatter is very unstable, something that happens in this episode. Starscream takes the opportunity in this episode and leads the Decepticons... to a defeat, courtesy by Optimus Prime and his Autobots. When the news about Megatron still live, the Decepticons can´t wait the arrival of their true leader (and loser), Megatron.moreless

    • (Chip and Spike are next to each other at Autobot headquarters)
Chip Chase: Uh, this is all my fault. Megatron would have never gotten the anti-matter formula if I hadn't memorized it.
Wheeljack: There's no way you could have erased your brain. Anyway, I've got a much better use for it. There's a little project I've been working on and I think you two guys can help.

  • ALLUSIONS (1)

    • When Cliffjumper says "Just your friendly neighbourhood decepticon wreckers", this is possibly an allusion to Spiderman, who commonly referes to himself as "Your friendly neighbourhood Spiderman".
