Episode Summary

EDIT
Starscream's Ghost
AIRED:
Octane faces either life on the run or some very angry Decepticons. Despite Sandstorm's help, there is little protection that the Autobots can actually offer him. An ancient Decepticon crypt appears to work out, though. Unfortunately, this crypt is home to the very vengeful ghost of Starscream. With Cyclonus soon under his control, Starscream is ready to pay Galvatron back for destroying him.moreless

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Goofs: In one scene, when Sandstorm helps Octane escape an attack by the Combaticons, Octane, in robot form, is somehow able to ride inside Sandstorm in helicopter mode. But how is that possible considering the two are about the same size? Technically, Octane should be the larger of the two triplechangers since his vehicle forms would be larger than Sandstorm's. And at the beginning of the last scene, Octane and Cyclonis/Starscream are speaking with each other's voices.

    • QUOTES (4)

    • NOTES (4)

      • Megatron and Thundercracker's markers can be seen in the Decepticon tomb.

      • Last appearance (in chronological order) of Sandstorm.

      • It is entirely possible that this episode was originally intended to feature Blitzwing, as opposed to Octane. Blitzwing was actually shown to be exiled from the Decepticons in "Five Faces of Darkness," Part 5, and the threat he uttered to Blitzwing is repeated verbatim by Octane. This episode does contain Octane's retelling of his own treachery, from "Thief in the Night," but the line is delivered at speed, hastily, as if it had to be retroactively inserted into the episode when the mistake was realised.

      • Starscream's ghost also appears in Beast Wars, taking over Waspinator.
