EDIT
The God Gambit
AIRED:
Space combat takes Astrotrain and other Decepticons to the Saturn moon known as Titan. A magnificent power source can be found there, but so can an alien race. Opposition from them isn't likely, though, because they consider Astrotrain a god, per his own manipulations, of course. To prevent a Decepticon victory, Jazz, Perceptor and Omega Supreme will have to either convince the aliens of the truth or fight.moreless

This is another episode that was not great in my book but enertaining all the same.

It was an interesting concept the fact that the giant robots could be considered gods. What makes this an interesting episode is seeing Astro Train taking the leadership role. As we see he isn't a bad leader but not perfect. We can see Astro Train is making a few mistakes that could clearly be avoided but unfortunately Astro is clearly on a power and ego trip and doesn't want to hear any of the Deceptacon's suggestions except his own which conctribute to part of his downfall.

I even like how most of the planet along with the people of Titan are designed, it's almost suggests sort of an Astec like culture.

But this episode has a few problems that hold it back for me. One I don't feel the planet Titan is explored enough let alone getting any knowlege as to how they aquired the religon of worshiping robots.

Another is the female resistance leader charcter (forgot her name sorry) she is hot no doubt and a decent fem fatale charcter but that's just it her character is only decent. Her character felt rather two dimentional to me, she was all business but no personal life. I'm not saying she should have some sort of romance with someone but that there needed to be a bit more to her.

    Overall good episode.moreless
