Episode Summary

The Immobilizer
An opportunity to defeat the Decepticons arises, courtesy of Wheeljack and a new invention. The effects may only be temporary, but the Immobilizer lives up to its name against any Transformer. Unfortunately, little time passes before the Decepticons learn about it. A new friend to the Autobots, Carly, unwittingly helps them. Now, the soon-modified Immobilizer gives the Decepticons the means to end the war once and for all. Pretty soon, only Brawn and Jazz are left standing, leaving them, Spike and Carly a lot of work to do.moreless

  • Ironhide to the rescue.

Ironhide isn´t my favourite character, but I have to admit he is a true warrior. I saw him in a variety of situations, but never in hurted-feelings situation. He thinks in this episode that he is useless... but he is one of the best warriors of the Autobots even being the oldest of the team. This episode is very funny, I chuckle every time Megatron and the Decepticons get dunked in the river when the Immobilizer's effects wear-off and Megatron swears for vengeance (tipically). The funniest thing is: really Carly thinks to blow an entire Decepticon base with a grenade? I think she has been watched too much TV.moreless
  • Carly joins the Autobot-Decepticon war, can Ironhide snap out of his self-doubt in time?

I've read McRazor's review of the Transformers episode entitled "The Immobilizer", and I'd have that I am offended by what he said about Spike's gal Carly!

McRazor, have you even talked to a woman? Are you a sexist pig? People, people, people! Nothing makes Roy Stantz more mad than sexist pigs!!

Enough of that, back to the episode.

Wheeljack has built a new weapon called the Immobilizer which can put a stop to the Decepticons forever. Spike and Bumblebee head off into town to get some extra parts. There, they meet Carly for the first time, but they also meet trouble when Ravage attacks. The heroes get away and return to the Ark, where Wheeljack suggests that the Autobots go into the forest to test the device. But Ironhide shirks guard duty when he finds and meets Carly, allowing the Decepticons to steal the Immobilizer.

Carly feels bad for what she did, and tries to blow up the Nemesis, but gets captured in the process. Ironhide snaps out of his self-doubt, rescues Carly, helps the Autobots defeat the Decepticons and destroy the Immobilizer, and returns to active duty, while Spike and Carly go on their first date.

The story is fun. The Immobilizer is a standard "doomsday weapon of the week", but Ironhide's self-doubt due to his old age carries the story nicely. The animation was impressive-enough, and I laughed every time Megatron and the Decepticons get dunked in the river when the Immobilizer's effects wear-off. Great comic-timing on that scene.

And McRazor, if you still can't get it through your thick skull, then you're an inbred retard who should go watch NASCAR instead.moreless
  • Who wrote this?

I was thinking for an hour, what to write here, and then I came up with this...

This is bassically what is the Immobilizer ep all about:

Wheeljack: Hey, I invented the new machine called the Immobilizer!

Optimus: OK, let's go to the forest to see what does it do!

    Carly: Hi!

Spike: Who the hell are you!?

Carly: I'm Carly. The producers wanted to put me as a new recuring character, would you be my friend?

Spike: But, I know you for only 1 minute.

    Carly: Pleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaase!

    Spike: OK, we'll see...

    In the woods...

Optimus: Ironhide, I want you to hide in the bushes and watch for any attacks!

Ironhide: What's the point of it? You will see for yourself the Decepticons who are usually coming from the sky.

Optimus: Yeah, but, maybe there will be some moll or rabbit spies...

Ironhide: You just want me out of your hair don't you?!

    Optimus: Damn!

Wheeljack activates the Immobilizer and it freezes water and Wheeljack!

Optimus: What a horrible weapon! We must protect it from Megatron!

Huffer: Why don't we just destroy it now?

Optimus: We can't! We got contract according to which we can destroy it after 20 minutes.

    Megatron: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....I'll take the Immobilizer!

    Megatron takes the Immobilizer.

    Optimus: He took the Immobilizer!

    Carly: Hi!

Ironhide: Who the hell are you?

Carly: I'm Carly! Would you be my friend!

Ironhide: But I know you for only 1 minute.

    Carly: Pleeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase!

Ironhide: OK, we'll see...Hey, they nicked the Immobilizer and I wasn't looking. I'm worthless. I can't do anything right!

Carly: It's all my fault! I shouldn't sneeking around like an idiot and looking for a way to get killed.

    Huffer: Well, DUH!

Carly: Hey, Ironhide, even though you know me for just 2 minutes, would you show me the entire Autobot HQ and all of the Autobot secrets and weapons?

    Ironhide: Weeellll...OK!

Carly: I gotta make amends somehow? I know! I'll just go to the Decepticon HQ where I will obviously be captured.

    Carly: Hi!

Megatron: Who the hell are you?

Carly: I'm Carly! Would you be my friend!

Megatron: No! I will drown you!

Carly is drowning and Ironhide appears out of nowhere and saves her.

Carly: Hey, I got a plan how to bring the Immobilizer back...

    Brawn: That's a stupid plan.

    Carly: So...?

They dig up a hole beneath the Immobilizer and take it...

    Megatron: Decepticons, retreat!

    Later in the Autobot HQ

Carly: So, Prime, can I stay as a recurring character?

Prime: Well, you are a geek, and you're annoying! Yeah, shore, you can stay!

    Carly: Yay!

Spike: By the way, Carly, would you have sex with me?

    Carly: What?

Spike: Did I said "sex"? I ment "drink"!

    The End

    Stupid, isn't it?
