TRCP's Life in the Open is a new nature series that is geared toward the outdoorsmen and is dedicated to wildlife conservation. In conjunction with the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership (TRCP), this series was developed to keep Teddy Roosevelt's love for nature and rugged sportsmanship alive and to share it with others. Each episode focuses on a new adventure that can be affordable and available to every American to take. The motto of the series is to take views "where the road ends and life in the open begins". The show is hosted by Ken Barrett, who takes viewer on each new journey that takes you to different locations across the globe. The 2009 opener took viewer on a salmon fishing excursion and a deer hunt in the beautiful Tongass National Forest of Alaska. Each new episode will bring viewer face to face with nature in an unbelievable way. This is the perfect nature show for both hunters and animal lovers.moreless
