this episode showed how major mardi gras is to louisiana from new orleans to the rest of the state i liked this because it showed how serious our culture is to us and how you will never knock this city down i enjoyed how they incorporated zulu and the mardi gras indians it also showed how this show has heart with the charecters toni and her daughter and also the policeman i enjoy what treme has done to show people of a world audience how us new orlenians are strong and love to party all i could say is keep it up because i enjoy watching every weekmoreless

"Carnival Time" is one of those episodes you are going to either love or absolutely hate, and I happen to be on the latter end. All of the dancing and the music and the partying, it just did not really entertain me. A Mardi Gras episode has no meaning on this show because they have carved out a niche, a niche that basically gives viewers moments like this every single week. So, there was nothing special about this. When you factor in that very little happened here tonight you get a low-rated episode from me. I appreciate their effort, but this just was not a strong Treme in my book.moreless
