EDIT
Vash, Wolfwood, and the insurance girls arrive at a city but the townsfolk won't let them through. They end up befriending a boy who takes him back to a hideout area where a bunch of orphaned kids reside. The kids relay the story of how one day their parents just stood up and left their villages in a zombie-like trance. To make things worse, some sand worms have run wild, attacking both the orphans and the city folk, and another Gung-Ho Gun is revealed.moreless

  • “Alternative” see’s Vash, Wolfwood, Millie and Meryl come across an abandoned house full of orphans

    7.5

“Alternative” see’s Vash, Wolfwood, Millie and Meryl come across an abandoned house full of orphans. They find out how all the children’s parents left in a zombie like coma. A nearby town then attack Vash claiming that he killed some of its residents. All hell breaks loose when a bunch of sand worms (Dune anyone?) attack. It then turns out that one of the children are actually a member of the Gung Ho Guns. The episode concludes with Vash and Wolfwood fighting over who made the right decision in dealing with the enemy. Overall this is an ok episode, where we see our characters quarrel.

  • An Anime King reveiw...

    9.1
This episode showed Vash trying not to have an attitde. He tries to be Mr. Nice guy and put up with a lot of crap. But his buddy with the cross didn't! He thought that Vash was acting like an idiot. This episode was about an over protective town that had gone through a lot. One of the orphans was the person controlling the monsters that were attacking the town. But the guy with the cross killed him anyway(he was still a kid). It was a sad episode. Anime King out.moreless
