The website claimed that the third season was to air this January...no specific date or time has been mentioned, though.

the official website you mean? it's doesn't say January it just says 2006 and I don't know why because they didn't sign for a 3rd season if there is one it won't be on Sci-Fi Channel we did not start to work on season 3 so I don't think your going to see new episode in january. for that we would have had to start as soon as season 2 was finish even then I don't think you would have had new episode for january

^You said in another thread that a third season would begin production soon. Do you know what channel it would air on in the US?

There is no Season 3 of Tripping the Rift.  The Sci-Fi Channel has cancelled the show.  It's over.  Done.  Finished.  The end!!

Scifi.com forum says that the international release is supposed to be in September of this year, straight to DVD in the US, I believe.

That sounds pretty nice (^_^) I am a fan of the show. I was wonder if you know if there will be any good bundles of all the seasons for this show? Gotta show support by buying the merch.

"New" is a relative term. Though TeleToon will be airing episodes not yet shown in Canada, they likely won't be "new". TeleToon seems to be alternating between about 8-9 episodes of the show, as I've been watching it since they started advertising it and have only seen about 8-9 different ones now. The rotation starts over in just over a week. Their idea of "new" episodes are just ones that haven't shown yet.

The irony to this is that it appears that Cinegroup did the production of it. If it's a Canadian show, why do we only get it almost 2 years after it airs on SciFi in the US? Does that not makes sense to anybody else?

In either case, the "new" episodes starting on Sept. 7 will almost certainly not be season 3. It will be the unaired episodes that have not appeared in random order yet from the first two seasons.

Sorry but no...they've aired the entire series several times over. If it's new, it'll be eps unaired by anybody yet...

We'll see on Sept 7 for sure one way or or the other..
