I did heard rumors that there is going to be a TTR movie by Stephen Root(voice of Chode) and when I first heard about it, I was excited to see a movie.

This movie is just the season 3 episodes that were aired in canada over the past several months. The episode summaries are posted on this site and they were pretty much all awesome.

That's a bit disappointing, I was about to watch it then I read the forum. A movie would be cool, also Six's original voice back would be cool.

Am I the only one who was really disappointed with the movie?

Well it's not really a movie, but four episodes stitched together. If you'd seen them already as I had, then really not much to this movie. Can't really say how it comes across to someone who hasn't seen the four episodes, though all things considering thought they did a decent job of stitching together and interweaving four completely different episodes together - well at least as good a job as can be done under the circumstances. I don't really understand though what the point of putting out this movie was, why did they do it? Maybe it was done to generate interest for a fourth season after the third season had ended? If so, seems like an odd way to do it as fans would have already seen the episodes that went into it. Better to do like Futurama and come out with some proper one-off movies. That said, I don't really know what the story is behind the movie and the end of show, but I'm still holding out faint hope that Tripping the Rift comes back in some form. I can't understand why a sci-fi spoof with great characters like this didn't get more of an audience. I loved it and the crew is missed.
