Goof: When Sam and his newly found brother Tommy Mickens are first seen outside with the '58 Plymouth Fury, we see Tommy's red and white tool box is fully open. The box is seen to be of the type that has two flip lid internal covers, then two fold and push close cascading sides, with two final flip close outer side covers. When Tommy throws his tools into the toolbox, he is then seen flipping his left inner side lid closed, and heard flipping the right inner side lid closed. He is then immediately seen flipping the right outside case lid closed, which would be impossible without first having cascaded the two outer side extensions back into the middle of the toolbox.
It's revealed that vampires can eat regular food, so long as it is made with blood. For example: blood soup, blood ice cream and blood wine.
Sookie: Eric, you can't just say something like that, and then leave.
Eric: Oh, I'm not leaving. You're going to invite me in, so I can protect you. Or have passionate primal sex with you. How about both?
Sookie: You're not gonna distract me while talking nasty.
Eric: I already have. So, are you going to invite me in?
Sookie: I'm still Bill's.
(Eric looks down and sees Sookie's diamond ring)
Eric: So you are.
Terry: Mornin', Sook. You okay?
Sookie: Did you just see someone here?
Terry: No. Usually when I see things other people don't, it's 'cause I ain't taking my medication, and I...
Andy: Get in.
Jason: This is fun. I ain't never been in the front seat before.
Rosie: (on police radio) Detective Bellefleur, we've got a 586 in progress at Hotshot.
Andy: Uh, Rosie, you realize a 586 means illegal parking. Over.
Rosie: Oh. I could have sworn that's what Kenya said. Anyway, they're busting a meth lab, whatever the code is for that. (with strong emphasis) Over.
Andy: (to Jason) Wanna take a drive?
Terry: Now, I know Coby and Lisa are a part of you, and maybe you think I'm not the kind of person you want around them? But…but I made a list.
Arlene: A list of what?
Terry: Ten reasons why you can trust me with your kids. Number one: I'm a nurturer. I found a baby armadillo by the side of the road, and I nursed it. And now it sleeps under by bed, and its name is Felix.
Terry: Number two: I have a diploma from anger management, where I learned talking about your feelings is the manly thing to do.
(Arlene looks momentarily down.)
Terry: Number three.
(Arlene groans and then rushes into the bathroom. Door closes as she retches and coughs. Terry goes up to the door.)
Terry: (louder) Number three. I never killed nothing by accident.
Terry: Number four…
Andy: You're a good guy, Stackhouse. You got a lot of heart. You're prettier than most girls. If you just applied yourself right, you could accomplish almost anything.
Jason: You really think so?
Andy: Why else would I be babysitting your drunk ass making sure you don't piss your entire future away?
Jason: (moves to hug him) I love you, Andy. You're my best friend.
Andy: (groans) Now that's just sad. (They each take a drink of their beverages)
Godric: A vampire is never at the mercy of his emotions. He dominates them.
Jason: There's werewolves?
Jason: Shit. Bigfoot, is he real too?
Sookie: I dunno, I guess it's possible.
Sookie: Jason, focus.
