Vote For True Blood's Ultimate Villain!
If someone would've told me back on season 2 that Sarah Newlin would become one of the greatest villains of the final season, I would've laughed so hard! Yet here we are and she's still standing, adding the perfect mix of bigotry and comic timing no other foe, human or supernatural, could bring to the table.

She's not the only one, for Mr. Gus Jr., Maxine Fortenberry, Sheriff Dearbone, Marnie and Rene proved to be as dangerous as Violet, King Russell, Debbie Pelt, Warlow or Maryann so far. Here's a poll to honor those that inflicted the most damage, the ones that harmed human and supernatural alike, the ones that would never stop unless they were stopped.

So cast your vote and hit the comments! After all is said and done: Who deserves to be the Ultimate Villain of True Blood?

Vote for the Ultimate Progeny on True Blood!
If there's one thing that sets True Blood apart from any other show in the genre is it's unique spin on progeny.

No longer the eternal mate the Twillight saga defined them as yet not quite the little monsters that Buffy & Angel established as, the progeny on True Blood became the fathers, sons and brothers Godric created, the unwanted babies that Jessica was to Bill, or the offsprings that made them proud of, like Pam is to Eric.

As the ultimate single parents, vampires make their progeny with the hope to leave something behind after the true death ...Read more

Vote On The Final Bill or Eric Poll!
Its less than a week before the series finale, so this is not a final in the ultimate best sense, it's not even a final in the who should Sookie end up with sense, but literally the final poll. This is it people. The last time you will ever vote for either Bill or Eric while True Blood is still on the air.

You can only have one vote and you can only vote for one vampire. So take a moment to let it sink in and hit the comments. No regrets.

The True Blood Poster Bracket Elite 8
Thanks to everyone who voted in Rounds 1-3! A few notes from the Round of 16

1) Two #1 seeds were downed in Round 3. In Bracket A The Color White poster of Sam, Lafayette, and Tara fell to the Season 4 character combo poster. In Bracket C the Blood Sucker poster fell to the Season 1 poster of Thy Neighbor

2) Eric is the only remaining character with individual character posters in the bracket with two.

3) Eric Season 2 poster had the highest vote percentage in Round 3 with a 90% to 10% margin over Bill Season 2.

4) The closest matchup came between the Color Black poster of Jess, Pam, and Jason defeating the Color Red poster of Alcide, Bill, Eric, and Sookie by a 55% to 45% margin.

5) The lowest remaining seed in the bracket is the #7 seed in Bracket C (Cup of Joe ...Read more

The True Blood Poster Bracket Sweet 16
Thanks to everyone who voted in Round 1 and 2! Here are a few fun notes from Round 2

1) After having several posters win with over 90% of the vote in Round 1, not a single poster in Round 2 received 90% of the vote in its matchup. The highest vote total was for the Season 4 Red Character Combo poster (Bracket A #3) with 89% of the vote in its matchup.

2) None of the Season 5 character posters have survived into the Sweet 16

3) While the top 4 seeds remain alive in Bracket A, Round 2 featured 7 upsets in the other 12 matchups.

4) All four of the #1 seeds are still alive, while the lowest seed remaining is the #10 seed in Bracket D (Season 3 Pam)

5) The closest matchup in Round 2 was between Season 2 posters for Jason and Bill with ...Read more

The True Blood Poster Bracket Round 2
Thanks to everyone who voted in Round 1! Here are a couple of notes from Round 1:

1) 5 of the 26 matchups were extremely lopsided with the winner getting more than 90% of the voted (Bracket A #3, Bracket A#4, Bracket B #1, Bracket B #2, and Bracket C #1)

2) The highest vote getter was Bracket A #4 - the Color Red Character combo poster with 97% of the vote in its matchup

3) The closest matchup came in Bracket D between the Season 3 Character poster for Jessica narrowly beating out the Season 3 Character poster for Sookie by 53% to 47%

4) You (as a group) disagreed with the seedings in 6 of the 26 Round 1 matchups with the most egregious example coming in Bracket C where the #13 seed upset the #4 seed.

5) Despite my complaint that I felt that both of Pam ...Read more

The True Blood Poster Bracket Round 1 cont. (C and D)
Today we will continue the process of crowning our favorite overall True Blood poster with the First Round in Brackets C and D - continue voting for Round 1 in Brackets A and B here

TV posters have become one of my favorite ways to show my appreciation for a good television show. Some shows have gone out of their way to create a considerable collection of great posters (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Fringe have the largest number of unique non-character posters I've been able to find). In the case of True Blood I was able to track down a total of 58 different posters for this show (thank you HBO!) and I do indeed have one of them on my wall. Before we begin with the giant 64 team bracket - broken down into 4 mini brackets (A, B, C, D) for file size reason - a few notes ...Read more

Seeding is based on my personal preferences - please feel free to address my mistakes in the comments.

Vampires not only exist, but the entire world knows about them. Since a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many people remain apprehensive about vampires living amongst them in Louisiana. In the southern town of Bon Temps, a local barmaid named Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) understands what it's like to be an outcast. Cursed with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires. She is especially intrigued by Bill Compton(Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test. Other town residents include Sookie's best friend Tara (Rutina Wesley), her slow-witted older brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and her shape-shifting boss Sam (Sam Trammell). Six Feet Under's creator Alan Ball created this sexy horror show based on the novels by Charlaine Harris.
