Yeh, I know, happy ending is impossible in TB. I hoped so much last season that Tara would just drive away and never come back, instead she became fighting lesbian, nothing against being gay but that was just weird.

I liked Sam at first when he was running around being the mysterious dog and being behind the bar at Merlotte's. I never liked his family drama, Tommy was such of waste of airtime even though he is a good actor, I loved him in prison break. I agree about Luna and Emma, no reaction when Marcus died and just being fine with everything and then come to support Sam as if they didn't have enough on their own plate. I don't think that Alcide is going to have any trouble, he killed the pack leader and must be the new leader now, the pack will protect him.

The law in Bon Temps is busy doing V, hugging waitresses, being kidnapped and having sex with Jessica. But seriously, that's one of my big problems with the show, people in the show get away with everything now days and the show runs so fast that we never see the consequences. I can understand that the vampires get away with a lot, the only need to use glamour and nobody seems to care about a vampire being killed.

I think that Lafayette is going to be in big trouble though, how can he explain Jesus stabbing?? And Sam surely should be in trouble regarding Tommy, but nah....

You're right, I think Jesus' death will be the hardest to cover up. At least with Tommy and Tara's deaths the people responsible for them are now also conveniently dead (Marcus and Debbie, poor Debbie I forgot all about her in my other post when I was listing the deaths, I feel sorry for her, anyway more on that later). Marnie was shown to be a total loner with no family or friends so I doubt anyone willquestion her disappearance, but, yeah, Jesus, surely he has family that will come looking for him? Or surely his work might want to know where he is? Although as you were saying, this is True Blood, so maybe not at all.

I know I'm probably in a minority but I feel sorry for Debbie. Trying her absolute hardest to get off V and play house and do all these things for Alcide when he's always out doing favours for Sookie and drooling over her even though she totally has no interest in him. It's so frustrating that the writers had to make her go down the path of crazy vengeful bitch, I mean really, who takes a shotgun to the house of the girl your boyfriend has a crush on and tries to kill them??? Not at all realistic, even under the influence of V. And of course there will be no repercussions for Sookie even though she could of, y'know, seriously wounded Debbie with the shotgun instead of blowing her brains out, but hell, what are you going to do?

I'm gonna be pissed if they bury Jesus in the woods somewhere and tell everybody that he left town. He deserves more than that even though I don't want Lafayette in prison for murder.

No, I feel for Debbie, she has been trough alot and had a terrible V addiction....She tried so hard to be better, even helped Sookieearlier in the season. The shotgun story comes from the books and it was better told there (the Debbie story as well). I'm glad that she is off the show but that's mainly because I'm so tired of all the side stories. I wish Sookie had shot her in self defense or in pure anger but she actually hesitated and went off on the dark side. Naughty wicked Sookie, hope you feel about. it.

I couldn't edit my last message, in the end it's supposed to say: Naughty wicked Sookie, hope you feel BAD about it.

And also forgot your questions from before, sorry.

For all I know It could be a new character that accidentally came across Sam's shifter smell. But it's probably some ofMarcus's old pack that is pissed about his death. Sam needs some protecting from Alcide. I think we're going to see how Alcidetake over the pack next season and I hope that Sam is in that storyline too.

If he's not driving off Cool

Sam doesn't turn down a fight, he changes into a polarbear and rip the wolf into pieces.

Oh, okay, haven't read the books yet - but I've bought the first six so the next time I'm on holidays I'm going to absolutely devour them.

You make a good point about the Sookie's hesitation, as much as I've explained how I disliked what happened to Debbie, I think having a darker side to Sookie like the one shown there would be a really good thing for her character. She'd be a lot more entertaining as a morally-ambiguous heroine with a tortured conscience than what she is now.

I just readon EW.comthat the wolf growling at Sam is a character we haven't seen in the show before, but apparently the reporter asked whether or not it might be Alcide's father (apparently he features in the fifth book???) and it wasn't confirmed or denied, so I guess we have to wait and see, although neither a confirmation or denial of something on television usually means it's happening.

    Tough call.

Legally she'd be screwed, and under normal circumstances it was morally wrong.

But Debbie's werewolf status changes the realism of having to kill her. Debbie still had the upper-hand because if Sookie backed down she could quickly turn into a werewolf and kill her.

Meanwhile this is a crazy werewolf woman that's back on V, that tried to kill Sookie last year, tried again tonight, and only failed because her friend took the shot for her.

Meanwhile, that's 2 season finales in a row where Sookie did something quite dark.

Last season, she put Talbot's remains in a trash compactor (or something) and actually cackled like an witch. A very creepy looking scene, perhaps the actress just made the laugh seem weird on her own. Or perhaps the director wanted it dark / creepy... coming not too far after the "don't let them steal your light" thing.

Now we have her hesitating and making the conscious decision to kill Debbie. Granted, as stated in my earlier post it wasn't without necessity or realism (even with the hesitation) but it's still a dark thing

Well, I´m a big, obsessive fan of True Blood. But this was the weakest season of all. I enjoyed it, of course, but I felt a bit disappointed. I´m not asking realism in True Blood, I like the extreme, grotesque situations. This seasons had a little amount of them but a lot of incoherence and inconsistence. The stories were not resolved (unless as someone said, it´s a set up for next season..the fairies, the panthers) and some other stories were resolved lamely or with magic. I don´t care if they are not following the books. What I hated is the lack of respect the writers had for the characters, the story and the public. It seemed that they haven´t watched last seasons or even previous episodes. It´s a pity, with such rich characters to develop and having all at their hands to do something better, turning this in a mess, with holes or situations tooo ridiculous even for this show. Why develop characters for three seasons and then put upside down everything? This is not good writing....I expected more (Eric and Bill in a truce? with same robes?? hahahah it´s too much!! Eric is still amnesiac, he forgot that Bill tried to kill him and Pam)

Of course I liked somethings, Nan spreading true death for everyone or Pam being over the Sookie´s precious fairy v..ina hahah I´l miss Jesus it was a good and strong character, poor lafayette. And I hope they don´t mess with Terry

And I´m sure Tara is not going to die! I hope she´s converted into a vampire, it will be soo against averything she wanted hahahha

No1Slayerette: Hope you like the books! I heard them on audiobook and they are amazing.

Well, Sookie's been through a lot lately, so much violence, maybe it's only natural to go a bit crazy. She didn't even blink when Eric ripped the witch man's heart out and sucked on it. She deserves a vacation away for a couple of weeks.

I got the impression that Debbie lost her craziness when she shot Tara, she never meant for it to happen and that's why Sookie got her down on her back, maybe I remember wrong!?

I think it's a new wolf, why would Alcide's father be angry at Sam!? But his father is probably going to be in the next season.

It's been a whole year since Bill tried to kill Eric and Pam, ancient history.

The scene with both of them sucking on Sookie in the same robes with her moaning was so awkward, for a while I thought that they would go all porno and have sex like in her fantasy.

This was one of the best episode's that I've seen so many twist and turns I like how they forshadowing thru this season they kept mentioning Steve Newlin and Russel Edgeington and now Newlin show's up on Jason's doorstep and Russle is broken out of his confinment. Sookie is so mixed up she's had so much bad Sh** happen to her I wonder how she even get's her head above water. I hate Jason now for what he did to Hoyt that is just wrong you don't screw your friends over like that. Bottom line this was a very good season and I can't wait for the new season to start it seems like it's a lifetime away. But we'll survive we can watch out other show's in the meantime.

I'm kind of glad Tara is gone. It was kinda clear from the start of the season that they didn't really have an idea with what to do for the character. If a character becomes useless, then it's better to just remove the character. I don't think they'll turn her into a vamp. She looked quite dead. She was shot in the back of the head. If anything, they might revive her with vamp blood. If they were to turn her, she's kind of brain dead, and when you make a vampire, they remain in the same state as who they were before. So she would a brain dead character. The book has a brain dead Elvis, but it was for comic relief. Wouldn't really work out for the series.

Hmm yes, and it has been 1000 years since Russell killed his family...that was more heavy, but anywayI don´t see Eric so much under Bill´s power.

The cops in this town suck. A new person dies every week and no one even gets called in for questioning? Seriously though, they killed off a lot of characters in a short amount of time. ---

Marnie kind of was a appointment's as the antagonist of this season.

Whatever Tara becomes in the next season I hope they'll make her totally unpredictable, one moment Sookies best friend, the other a dangerous lunatic. I think that Sookie is going to have to kill her in the end or something like that. I think she could be a little like "Bubba" but more bloodthirsty and violent. It's nothing like when Russel killed his family. I think Eric doesn't mind that Bill tried to kill him, he understands why and maybe respects Bill more for it. It would be fun to see what happend between them the year Sookie was gone, Bill having more power than Eric and so on. They could have dropped a hint on it this season....

Yes! I miss the cops involvement from season 1, why can't Andy and Jason do some work for once!? Why have Bon Temps Sheriff on the show if he doesn't do anything!?

    I can't stop watching that Gorilla.....AGH!
