  • Snookie meets the other vampires, and she doesn't know whether she wants to be with Bill or not. Dawn and Jason have a fight, which could get him into a lot of trouble. Tara and Sam have a one night stand.moreless

The starting scenes where Snookie meets the other vampires was really intense, and I thought that started the episode off really well. It was also interesting to hear about Snookie's grandmother tell her about her grandfather's special abilities as well.

For a change, I also thought Jason was really funny, especially his scenes with Lafayette. I like Sam and Tara as friends so I thought it was a little too awkward to see them get together. I thought the scenes with Tara and her mother were very interesting though, it was kinda creepy when her mother hit Tara in the head with a bottle. It is a little sad to see Dawn being killed like that. They could have done much more with that character. Overall, I thought this was a good episode, and am looking forward to the next one.moreless

Bill introduces Sookie to some of his vampire friends while Tara is still troubled by her family, so she spends a night with her boss and tries to find comfort at LaFayette's. Wow - I loved this episode. For me, it is my favourite episode so far - just my opinion! The starting was awesome where Sookie is in Bill's house and the other vampires are there - a really intense moment. The storyline for this show is awesome, so far it's very consistant - which is always great for a show. I'm obsessed already, because I have read the books and because the way the actors play their characters it so interesting! So far my favourite character is Bill, I think everyone will know why (HOT) and also a very good actor who plays an awesome character. I also loved the Tara and Sam scenes, I can't wait to watch the next episode.moreless

As Sookie confronts Bill with the information she has recovered she inadvertently runs into a few other vamps there who are his acquaintances and he declares that she is "his" which is a spoken verbal contract meaning that other vamps can't touch Sookie except for Bill or without his permission. Tara after discovering her feelings for Jason, moves in with Lafayette and his overly sexed up apartment and gives off an off sort of feel to it. Jason continues to see his waitress friend at the bar and Gran instructs Sookie on the importance of what it's like to respect uniqueness like Bill and herself should know.moreless

Bill Compton's allure is diminished somewhat when Sookie visits him in his home and finds that several other rather nasty vampires has also dropped in for a visit. Bill protects her from his one-time friends but she sees a nasty side of vampire life. Dawn Green spends the night with Sookie's brother Jason but she kicks him out after an argument. She is found strangled later that day. Tara walks out on her alcoholic mother and spends the night with her employer, bar owner Sam Merlotte. The best episode yet I'm really starting to like this tv Show, it is very consistant in its quality and very enterianing.moreless

Episode 3 brings more drama, comedy and sex in a great hour of TV. The cliff-hanger wasn't exactly dangerous but it was a bit intense with them all going for her and Bill saying 'she's mine'. I really want Bill and Sookie to get together, he cares about her and she's drawn to him...seen in those very sexual scenes of her pleasuring herself. The evil vampires were quite funny, I wonder what will happen with them.

Tara proves to still be a great, funny character and ends up sleeping with Sam. It's funny how they each like one of the siblings...we got to see Tara's mother and I'm glad she's out of there. As for Jason, what a piece of work. He had me convinced when he 'attacked' Dawn...the fact that he couldn't get it up cos of the vampire thing was funny, interesting how he got dealt some vampire blood to cure him...downstairs.

The end wasn't a shock purely because it was in the info for the episode, who knows why...can't wait for next week. Who killed Dawn? Who is Sam? What will happen to Sookie next?moreless

It makes vampires weak for around a month. The real danger is being captured and staked during this time. - Vampires' bodies have no electrical impulses. No brain waves, no heart beat, no need to breathe. They are dead. - When vampires live in nests, the vampires become more cruel and more vicious. Edit

    • Bill: What animates you no longer animates me. Sookie: What does animate you, then? Blood? How do you digest it if nothing works? Bill: Magic. Sookie: Oh, come on, Bill. I may look naive, but I'm not. And you, you need to remember that. Bill: You think that it's not magic that keeps you alive? Just 'cause you understand the mechanics of how something works doesn't make it any less of a miracle. Which is just another word for magic. We're all kept alive by magic, Sookie. My magic's just a little different from yours, that's all. Edit
    • Sookie: Bill, night before last I had to bury my bloody clothes because I didn't want my grandmother to know I was almost killed and tonight I was almost killed again! Why on earth would I continue seeing you? Bill: Because you will never find a human man you can be yourself with. Edit
    • Sookie: And... you and Diane dated? Bill: We had sex once, just after she was made a vampire in the late 1930's. Sookie: What? Gross. Bill, she so... they're all so... Bill: Evil. Yes, they are. They share a nest and when vampires share a nest, they become more cruel, more vicious. They become laws unto themselves. Whereas vampires such as I, who live alone are much more likely to hang on to some semblance of our former humanity. Edit
