  • Series best!

I've been watching True Blood from the start, tonight's episode was the best so far. Lots of action, best part was Vampire fighting 101 with Jessica, It's about time Eric did something, now it's Bill and Eric against the king, R.I.P Talbot, now we have a new Wiccan being introduced, and Jason will probably be a Were-panther by the end of the season. I've read some of the books, at this point in the books I think Bill becomes a minor character and Eric becomes Sookie's main vampire companion, but since Sookie and Bill are together in real life I think they may stay together.moreless
  • You know who has the toughest job on True Blood?

The guys in payroll. The cast attrition rate on this show could make both your head and your abacus spin!

This episode started at a steady pace and ended in a frenzy for all concerned, but what a ride. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is the all too brief tease provided in Alfre Woodard's appearance. Still, I'll take the promise of yet another colourful character...and her warnings: can she "see" like Sookie? And is that why she's a little mad?

    Looks like both Jessica and Sookie are all grown up and can take care of themselves. One were down and one a sewing project: not bad for a night's work. Anna Paquin as Sookie really knocked it out of the park tonight...just ask "Bill"! ;o}

The brewing battle between Eric and Russel is going to be epic, and I must admit I'm a bit surprised it's come to a defining moment quite this soon, but I guess the season does draw ever closer to completion. Is Pam in jeopardy again or has Eric sent her into safe-keeping? I must admit that I grow ever more tempted to read the books, but I really don't want to have any ideas of how the story goes, or come to any conclusions about how I think it should go, based on the books. All I feel right now is that the season is going to end in such a way that it will be painful to wait for next June. Curse these short summer "seasons"...moreless

I have seen a lot of couples break up and get right back together, but I do not think I have ever seen in it in the very same episode. We all knew Sookie and Bill would get back together and have crazy vampire sex, but they couldn't have broken up for at least a week?

The episode was literally insane here, and while this is not the most intelligent show on TV, True Blood is a great guilty pleasure to watch and a fine supernatural experience to boot. The sex was a little too much here, but hey, some people watch the show just for that so you have to keep those fans happy.

But I am a True Blood fan now, and I never thought I would be. Another good season 3 episode here.moreless
  • Top Form for Midseason True Blood

This weeks installment blew me away, literally. The action really came to a head this week as the writers threw caution to the wind and went full force. Debby invades Sookie's house, and you see Bill train Jessica to fight them but the most effective part came at the top when Bill says he can't be with Sookie because he is no good. Bill's development this season has been the most believable and what was once a bland character has come full circle into a full on bad ass. What I don't like is they downplay werewolves' strength and vamps can easily do away with them as if they are nothing. But hopefully next week we see more of what's to come and they can keep the adrenaline up for the the remainder of this incredible season. And as an added bonus, angry sex to heavy metal (never thought it would work, but it did).moreless
  • This episode blew me away! Best episode of this season so far! Things are getting intense! Absolutely amazing!

First of all Sookie was beyond bad-ass in this episode! She was and is amazingly strong especially with everything she's been through! Everything about this episode was amazing from start to finish!

The episode starts with Sookie waking up in the hospital. Loved this scene, especially since Tara, Lafayette, Jason, and Alcide jump up to protect her. It's adorable how protective Alcide is of her. The scenes in the hospital are touching because you really see how much the people in Sookie's life really care about her. Sookie and Bill's scene in the hospital was so intensely heartbreaking and amazing.

In this episode Tara is understandably traumatized by everything she's been through. And although she is always disapproving of Sookie's relationship with Bill which is frustrating, I absolutely adore the friendship between Sookie and Tara and how much they are there for each other. It is always clear that Tara just wants the best for Sookie. It's cool that they live together now.

Jason's relationship with Crystal is interesting. I'm actually starting to like these 2 together. I hope that this time Jason has actually found a good, possibly lasting relationship. Though, I am worried that their relationship is going to get Jason in more trouble because Crystals family is clearly crazy.

Sam and Tommy's scenes were good and I like their brotherly relationship. Looks like there's a Jessica-Hoyt-Tommy love triangle forming and it going to get heated especially with the already Jessica-Hoyt-Summer triangle. Looks like Sam and Tommy's story may intertwine with Jason's and Crystal's family.

Lafayette is absolutely wonderful as always. Love him and Jesus. Jesus will be really good for Lafayette. The Eric and Talbot thing was intense. Their scenes were like wow! Looks like Eric getting some of his revenge. Clearly an epic war with Eric, the King, and Bill is going to go down soon.

Loved the Sookie and Alcide scenes as always! They are adorable! Sucks that Alcide had to leave. And the scene when he's leaving was so intense because clearly they have strong chemistry and almost kiss but don't. They would make a great couple if they ever got together, under the right circumstances. Alcide truly cares about her. He even asked her to come with him to protect her, absolutely adorable! Hope Alcide comes back soon!

Also, Absolutely loved the Jessica and Bill scenes. Bill wanted to release her but Jessica doesn't want/ is nowhere near ready to be on her own. I love their father-daughter relationship. I'm happy for Jessica because clearly she needs Bill back in her life. Loved that they bonded and that Bill trained Jessica. Then Bill and Jessica come to Sookie's rescue when a fight goes down at her house. Sookie, Bill, and Jessica vs. Debbie, the King, and the kings wolves was one of the most intense fight scenes so far. Clearly this is just the first part of an intensely epic war soon to happen. Once again I have to say Sookie and Jessica were so bad-ass! Love them!!! The Sookie vs. Debbie fight was good! I love that Bill and Jessica came to Sookie's side to quickly. Bill protectiveness of both of them is wonderful.

Lastly Sookie and Bill's ending scene was intense. They clearly still love each other. And as amazing and intense as it was and as much as I love them together, what is this going to mean? Are they back together? Should they get back together? I don't know, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Can't wait to see:

    1. How Sookie and Bill's relationship will play out

    2. Alcide come back and more Sookie-Alcide-Bill-Eric drama as well as the Jessica-Tommy-Hoyt-Summer square.

    3. And last but not least to see the soon full on epic war with the King!

Things are getting intense and this season is getting really good! And this episode is hopefully just the first of the intense and amazing things to come!moreless
