A True Detective Community
Sunday 9:00 PM on HBO

The Television Critics Association has announced the winners of its annual TCA awards, held Saturday evening at the Beverly Hilton hotel in—you guessed it—Beverly Hills, California (90210).

Breaking Bad won the night's highest honor; the AMC hit claimed the title of Program of the Year for the second year in a row.

Meanwhile, HBO had a hell of a run. True Detective, which led this year's nominees with four nods, now tops the winners list as well: The show itself took home the award for Outstanding Achievement in Movies, Miniseries, and Specials, while Matthew McConaughey snagged the honor for Individual Achievement in Drama (and beat out last year's winner, Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany). Veep also notched two victories—the series tied with Louie for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus added yet another shiny object to her trophy case with a win for Individual Achievement in Comedy.

Other notable winners include The Good Wife for Outstanding Achievement in Drama, Orange Is the New Black for Outstanding New Program, and The Fosters for Outstanding Achievement in Youth Programming.

Here's the full list; last year's winners are denoted with an asterisk.

The WHAT? awards?

I like it when performers categories are male/female mixed. It really has no meaning to have them separated, imho, other than having a larger number of awards of course.

Excellent. As is their due, True Detective and MM deserve everything they get and will wipe the floor with the Emmys.

Kudos to Louie AND Veep for knocking BBT off its jackass pedestarl.

Too bad they don't televise the TCAs instead of the shit Emmys.

The Fosters are deserving winners ! It does not have much competition though.

Finally some love for the good wife.

Looks like these critics awards are getting them right unlike the Emmys.

I can't argue with any of their winners - I doubt the same will be said for the Emmys

Much better than Emmys. Loved TGW for achievement in drama. I would have given new program or miniseries to Fargo but the competition is fierce.
