  • Even more boring than the boring world of Bohr's atoms

I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed that Clamp is still selling books today. I mean, they started out with "monster of the week", then moved on to "card of the week", and now behold, we have Tsubasa, "world of the week." What's next, word of the week?

Like I said in my review on Bleach, I won't write long reviews for Shonen/Shojo works anymore since they are basically the same stuff over and over again and I already covered all I wanted to say about this genre in there. This review will still focus on the manga mostly but only for the story and the characters. The story is repetitive to the extreme. Basically the group just moved from on world to another and you always find a cheesy sub-story in each world. The worlds don't have any connections to each other either. Besides looking for the feathers, I still don't get the main storyline after 160 something chapters.

Characters are very boring. Sakura is the most boring female lead I have ever seen. I completely agree with what Newtype said about how she has "the most shining smile", because that's all she has! Man she doesn't even talk much. Clamp, take my advice, Miss Perfect is for kindergartens. The fake Syaoran is a robot. The only trait he has is to protect Sakuya. Fay and Kurogane are overrated too. Sure, both of them have a complete volume dedicated to their pasts, but in the present they are still typical Shonen characters with no connections to their past. Just what does Kurogane, being the only non-gay character, have anything to do with his parents being killed??? The only one that's worth discussing is the real Syaoran. Certain depth can be associated with him, especially in those chapters involving the relationship between him and the hime, like how they still cares for each other yet constantly avoiding each other. They did a good job portraying his feeling and thoughts. This is the only personal conflict in Tsubasa. Pathetic.

Artstyle overall is amazing with lots of details, both in the manga and the anime. The graphics in the anime is good too, not amazing but still good. Color scheme is also nice and bright.

Voice acting is good, especially for the hime. I'm not a huge fan of anime girls with those loli voices. Music is top notched. Tsubasa (OP1) and the Song of Fire and Storm (IN) are true music. Too bad all these talents are wasted on this…

Move on to theme. Tsubasa doesn't have a theme. Period. Or you can try to convince me what the theme is.

Presentation sucks. What I mean by presentation are things like camera angles, scene switching, when to start the background music, etc. First on the anime. It's 2007 already and we don't really need to see the camera fixing on a guy's face for 5 seconds without him saying a word. I didn't even finish the first season because of this. Next the manga. I think I hate Clamp's style. They failed to deliver anything to me except the Kurogane's past arc. Even the love element looks like kindergarten stuff compared to Suzuka. All I get from reading the manga is that things happened, so what?

Other technical stuff. The dialogues are shallow. There are no humours either. The only gags are the ones Fay and Monoka played on Kurogane and they are all gay.

In conclusion, Tsubasa is a failure in almost everything, and its biggest failure is that they chose to work on a boring world-switching plot. Don't touch Tsubasa, that's my advice.

  • A cleverly written Anime show with plenty going on to keep you excited!

Tsubasa Chronicles is done by the artist team of CLAMP is is currently in its second season. It shows the journey of Sakura and Syaoran and they search for Sakura's lost memory which have taken the physical form of feathers.

    Story 10/10:
As alread mentioned Tsubasa Chronicles is the story of the Princess of the Clow Kingdom Sakura and her childhood friend Syaoran. After finding a mysterious ruins outsde the Kingdom Sakura finds herself mysteriously drawn towards it and an unknown power activates stealing her memories away from her. Syaoran, who vows to save her life and memories jump around from World to World with their companions Kurogane, Fye D. Flowright and Mokona and attempt to find all of Sakura's feathers. But to gain the power to move from world to world each character had to give up their most precious possession. What are they? Watch to find out!

    Characters 10/10:
Tsubasa Chronicles has the richest cast of characters I have seen in an Anime show. Each character is very individual, have their own perks and quirks and very deep pasts that take quite some episodes to find out about. First we have Syaoran, a quiet yet strong indiviudal who has strong feelings for Sakura. Sakura is The Princess of the Clow Kindgom and is in love with Syaoran, but cannot remember because of her lost memories. As they're journey begins they become compaions of Kurogane who is desperately trying to his world of Fuedal Japan and Fye D. Flowirght who is a wizard trying to do everything to stay away from his home country. Finally is Mokona who is, as Kurogane puts it a "white bun". Mokona is your typical Anime creature/mascot that no Anime would be complete without!

    Animation 10/10:
The drawing and animation in Tsubasa is come of the best I have seen. All the characters are beautifully drawn and all the animation flows very nicely, especially in combat and magic scenes. Scenery and worlds also have their own unique style and when the characters move about worls you can easily diferentiate the worlds. Not a whole let else to say except CLAMP does some mighty fine work.

    Flow 8.5/10:
Whilst you never get lost in Tsubasa Chronicles, due to it being taken from Manga many bits were chopped out and you'll often find yourself wonering small things like, When did they change clothes? Or, when did they teleport to thsi world? Ultimately though it doesn't matter as the story is engaging and easy to pick up what is happening.

    Outro 9.7/10:
Tsubasa is a great Anime show with beautiful animations, great storyline and characters full of personality. Apart from a few minor flaws with story flow it is a fantastic Anime and not one to miss!
  • I didnt really like the show.

I didnt really like the show. At first I loved the fact that i could get to see the CCS characters again.... and the crossover with xxxHolic and the other CLAMP series...

but then the anime version only gets further from the original story in the manga, especially after the second season, and the ending was not even the same!! i hated that!

I really LOVED the OVAS though. (both Tokyo and Shunraiki)
I also strongly reccomend you all to read the manga. it's way better! in my opinion it's the best of all of CLAMP's work that said, im a huge fan of these series. but i think the anime is not good enough for it.
  • love the show but gets violent. but it still rocks.

i love this show but when shouyron goes bad and all discusting in the end... Ew i thought i was going to be sick! i feel sick everytime i think about it. even just looking at a pic of him makes me want to gag. but i can live with that because this is one of my fav. shows in the world. i can't wait until the next episodes come out, but i do hope that it's alittle less violent. i mean this whole time there was no blood or violence but then when it came to the end... wow it was all bloody. but still i'd watch anything with sakura in it.
  • Definitely one of the better anime shows that I have watched in a while. With crossovers from xxxholic and cardcaptors this show becomes even more fun to watch. Also its great to see the characters from the manga animated!

Firstly the storyline of the anime is great, it follows the manga pretty well with a few cuts and even some additions (some of the best additions being "doodler mokona" and the whole chaos part at the end of the series) If you read the manga and want more, this show is definitely a must see.

Next would be the fact that the characters are great! The antics of Fai are hilarious and very entertaining. You can also see each character grow and change throughout the series, providing an excellent sense of time passing.

Finally the Tokyo revelations is probably the best three episode add on imaginable. It provides another "ending" to what happens after the country of Rekord/Lecourt. It follows the actual events that happened in the manga, complete with astonishing revelations and even some new characters =D

Tsubasa is one of the best anime shows I have watched in a while…. There is just one problem…. I wish they would make more!!! =P
  • I think this is the greatest anime I've ever seen so far. It stars characters from Cardcaptor Sakura and crosses over with xxxHolic. I couldn't ask for more.

OMG!!! This show is awesome. One day I was bored and decided to explore the anime world. So, I went down to the video rental place and rented a few anime DVDs, one of which was the first disc of Tsubasa. After watching like five lame DVDs (in one day), I finally put on Tsubasa. Completely bored out of my mind I was thinking that this was going to be a lame show. Boy was I wrong. Within the first ten minutes I was hooked. i was like, this show is so totally awesome. It's the best anime ever!! So after that I went out and rented the second disc, and bought the soundtrack, the third disc, and the first five volumes of the Manga. I am a huge fan now. It's number one on my favorite anime list. The music is amazing and the storyline is awesome. I've rated it a very high. It's the highest I've rated any show. A Must-See!!!!!
  • I love the manga, but the anime on the other hand...

The original manga for the series is far better then the anime adaption. Tsubasa has a wonderful storyline in the manga that is shown poorly through the show. The anime isn't horrible, but they could have done a far better job.

Tsubasa follows the adventures of Syaoran as he tries to regain his childhood friend Princess Sakura's memories which are scattered across different worlds in the form of feathers which can possess great power. Desperate, Syaoran goes to the dimensional witch and begs her to save Sakura. The witch gives Syaoran the ability to pass through different worlds, but in exchange Syaoran must give up what he cherishes the most: his relationship and memories with Sakura. There he meets up two other men, Fai (a wizard who gave up his magic in order to pass through different worlds) and Kurogane (a ninja banished form his own world and is trying to get back to his own world. Kurogane gives up his sword to transfer worlds). From there, the three of them set out to find princess Sakura's memories.

It follows the storyline fairly well for the first little bit, but according to a friend of mine who loves this series, the anime and the manga go in completely different directions with the manga as the better. If they had changed just a few things about the show, like better character designs, music and have it follow the manga more, this would be a fantastic anime series. But for anyone who is thinking of getting involved in this anime, I'd advise you read the manga so you won't be disappointed.
  • Not that great

Okay, I love the Tsubasa Chronicles Manga. It's one of the best I've ever read, in the few I have, and the only one I'd call a masterpiece. So, when I saw the anime, I was disappointed. The anime has some beautiful moments, and amazing music, but the pace is so slow! The manga has a lot of action, and most of it was cut out or toned down. Scene order was changed, which I partly understand, but in this case it just confused things and made the characters harder to relate to. The scenes are tirelessly dragged out to lengths that make no sense. They don't help build tension, they put us to sleep! And the music, though beautiful, was out of place. There would be a rock song playing while everybody was asleep, or a slow, lullaby-like song in the middle of a fight. That doesn't matter as much as the fact that it just didn't work. Sometimes these techniques can help an anime, but in this case, it just hurt it. Also, the voices were bland, and not different at all. Fai was japanese guy no. 1, kurogane was japanese guy no. 2, and on and on. They didn't sound unique(except for Mokona modoki.) All in all, this could've been done much better, and watch the English version. FUNImation did a great job with the mess it was and turned it into something not completely mediocre. (I'm not usually this rough, but I really love this series, and to have the ORIGINAL be so bad really shook me.)
  • This show ROCKS!

Personally, I love this show. This show is about Syaoran, an archaeologist who just before tells Princess Sakura that he loves her, a strange incident occurs. After Syaoran breaks the seal, Sakura's memories become feathers. Now Syaoran accompanied by Fay, Kurogane, and Mokona go on a quest in other worlds to reclaim Sakura's feathers. The music in this show is just awesome, it kinda makes you want to sing along with it. The dialog is great, but not exactly to epic proportions. Sometimes, the dialog gets boring. The thing I like most about the show is the opening theme. The song "Blaze" is just awesome! I think this song is what helped good things happen in racing last year. The combat is fun to watch, but it's very predictable. Syaoran fights with martial arts. Fay fights almost like Syaoran, except he has help from Mokona. Kurogane fights with a sword. Overall, awesome music, great dialog, cute, lovable characters, fun combat.

Like Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, this show has powers. When I watched this show last year, good things happened in racing. When I watched the first volume, Jason Leffler won the Nationwide race at O'Reilly Raceway Park giving Toyota its first win in Nationwide competition. When I watched the second volume, Kurt Busch won at Pocono breaking his long losing streak, and Lewis Hamilton won the Hungarian Grand Prix. Well uhhhh...good bye.
  • The characters of Sakura Card Captors in a different story.

I was really surprised when I discovered this Anime. I was searching for some Sakura's episodes then I found an article about the group CLAMP and about this new animation series. I was surprised with the story and the other way that they wrote about the characters. It begins in a beautiful kingdom named Clow and tells the story of Princess Sakura and Shaoran, two childhood friends. They fall in love with which other but, by irony of destiny, they can't express their feelings. Sakura loses her memories as little shiny feathers and Shaoran has to travel though many dimensions to collect them all before something horrible happens to Sakura. The only thing that makes this task more difficult is: doesn't matter how many feathers he recovers, Sakura will not remember him and every time she tries to do that, her mind will shut down and she will forget about trying to remember Shaoran. It's sad but Shaoran's love is stronger and he tries to recover her memories anyway. It's a beautiful anime full of fantasy and dreams and the storyline that they created was impressive and surprising. I love to see Sakura, Shaoran and others characters of Sakura Card Captors again. It was a trip through my mind and memories.
  • It all began to know that Princess Sakura's memories were lost and it's up to Syaoran to save her and collect all those memories........

I just love watching it and it's the same like cardcaptor sakura but the difference is that they are grown. It's the best anime and i would like to watch it all over again...
But this time i really want to have that part 2. Before that it's great to know that some people like to watch the show and also Cardcaptor Sakura. It is good to say that this show has the best animation and the best characters... Sometimes i think it would also be great to have the show and the anime is the one that counts on it.
  • I present you en epic story of love and fantasy...or not... The story is about how Sakura, Princess of Clow gets her memories, in form of feathers scattered across the dimensions and everyone has to colect it. Man I wish different studio animated it.

Tsubasa Chronicle (or "Chronicle of the Wings) is a manga-to-anime adaptation by japanese animation company Beetrain. The story is about Sakura, the Princess of Clow who gets her memories lost and scattered in form of feathers by a mysterious man pulling the strings behind the shadows and Syaoran, archaeologist and Sakura's closest friend has to go on desperate journey to collect them. In order to be able to travel through dimensions he pays the price to the Witch - Sakura won't ever remember him. Of course in the journey he will be accompanied by mysterious magician, Faye and hot-tempered ninja Kurogane.

Well that is the main story we get from the very first episode. And then the problems begin, as Beetrain fails to deliver the quality original manga had. I will review it in few steps, one after other. So first...

Animation: Character designs are bland. Apparently animation studio decided that instead of using the designs from manga they should be "artful" and do whatever they want. So what we got is skinny long-legged entities with big heads and even bigger smiles.
Basically character designs look like a VERY twisted version of original CLAMP art, but drawn by three-year old...
Apparently, Sakura, the main heroine, somehow gets the wrong hair-do before the first episode and gets to look like her 8-year-old counter-part from cardcaptors for all the 52 episodes.
Mokona, the little sarcastic helper and "device" to travel between dimensions seemingly ate too much just before the travels as he, during all the 52 episodes looks about 3x size than normal.
Fai, the mysterious magician, somehow gets his head smashed(yet again before the first episode, i guess) and forgets to get a hair-do (what a twist!).
Thankfully, Kurogane being a good ninja, still manages to look right.
Now on to the actual animation. Its bland. Basically we get to see a lot of stills with moving SMILING lips and about ~50 second fights in what supposedly had to be action series. The backgrounds look bland too. God, does everyone at Studio Beetrain thinks that Pink = cool. We get pink skies, pink moon, pink clothes, pink hair, pink faces, pink cars and planes...

What always amazed me while reading the original comics was the story. It had plenty of plot twists, comedy and the whole desperate "doom-soon-to-come" atmosphere at every moment. Well, people at Studio Beetrain apparently forgot to read the original work on which they were basing the animation... Instead of the desperation we get shoujo-esque "everythings gonna be alright" atmosphere with a moral in every episode. Comedy scenes are cut out since, "oh well who needs them, lets just stick in a 4-minute scene of Syaoran staring at Sakura and it will all be alright."
That leads to the pacing. This show had some SERIOUS pacing problems. Seriously, when you see two persons staring at each other for half of episode, accompanied by series of flashbacks to PREVIOUS episode, you just know that something is really bad.
Story was changed, subjugated... from the classic CLAMP-ish "desperation and fight for survival" into shoujo romance of knight saving his princess, accompanied by a romantic songs...And that brings us to the music...
Story was changed so much that Beetrain lost sight of the original comic, adding up stuff which does not compute with the original story.

Soundtrack is outstanding, great and everything...That is if you listen to it SEPARATELY from series. Apparently people at Studio Beetrain also think that silence is EVIL, thus they had to fill it up with songs. We do not get any silence...its always something playing, singing, etc in the background. Well that would not be so bad if songs were not so out of place and repeatable... During the entire 52 episodes we get to hear "A Song of Storm And Fire" for about um...three million times...Basically anything involving a higher frame rate goes on with this song. And there goes the misplacement of songs...Here we have Magician revealing to the Ninja a bit of the reasons why is he running from his own world...and a fast sweet comedy-like song in background...thank you no...its uncreative...

Well this was based on "Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle" by famous mangaka circle "CLAMP", so there was almost no room to add something up...but of course, Studio Beetrain, being such an artistic circle of people still tried...and failed. We get a lot of nonsense, original scenes cut off and etc, so they can add up something of their own. Like an entire episode of Syaoran and Sakura looking at each other shouting each other's names...
This "Creativity" of animation studio has risen into the absurd levels after just a few episodes...Animators just started to assume stuff, since they "of course know better than original authors"...So they depict Magician's past TOTALY wrong, and its the same with...everything...they misunderstand the summoning concept of the very first worlds and we got a lazer-dbz scenes instead. They misunderstood the concept of dimension travel and thus we get a LOONG wormholes taking up to 5 minutes of episode, they misunderstood lots of stuff, so i was even surprised that they got Kurogane's past somewhat right...

If you like over-sweetened shows trying to teach you something, or if you love watching soap operas - then this is for you.
If you like a bit more serious things or if you have the ability to THINK - stay away...and buy the original manga..

So basically - please everyone stay away from these 52 episodes...do not waste your money on them...

Better waste your money on buying the original manga and, of course the recent OVA(Original Video Animation) masterpiece by Production IG animation studio known as "TSUBASA Tokyo Revelations".

P.S. But getting your hands on the four soundtrack compilations would be a good idea...
  • Just when Sakura and Syaroan try express their feelings for each other a plan is set into motion that scatters Sakuras' memories through space and time.

I haven't seen an episode of this that I don't like. The visuals are breath taking and the characters are alive and rich. If you loved Cardcaptor Sakura then you will love this. After Sakuras' memories were scattered the quest starts to find all of them and give her back her life, however there is a catch in order to do this Sharon must give up the most precious thing to him… the relationship that he has with Sakura. Sakura in turn also does this even though it is on a subconscious level. With the price paid Sakura and Sharon are joined by Fai, Kurogane, and Mokona. Both Fai and Kurogane paid their own prices to move between worlds and each is the most important thing to them. From there they start to move from world to world to find Sakuras' feathers or "memories," meeting new people and new enemies along the way. The story line is extremely complex with many twists and turns. I am excited to see where these characters go and how they grow to depend and trust each other. The sole downside to this anime is that it ends about halfway through the series with any luck it will be picked up again and continued. Here is hoping! If not, if you are interested search Tsubasa on Wikipedia.org. It is worth the read. It would have gotten a perfect score if it didnt end half way through the story.
  • i love this show so much i like how it is a spin off of other shows

Sakura is the princess of Clow kingdom, which is ruled by her older brother, King Tôya. Her childhood friend Syaoran is a young archaeologist. Sakura is revealed to have strange powers when she has a vision of a mysterious symbol and places she has never seen. Meanwhile, Syaoran discovers the same symbol at the ruins he is excavating. He sees Sakura standing on the symbol on the ground. Ghostly wings appear on her back and a mysterious force begins to pull her into the walls of the ruins. Syaoran rescues her in time, but her wings are scattered across dimensions. The High Priest of Clow Kingdom, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "wings" were the manifestation of her soul and memories; without them, she will die. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran must journey to retrieve her wing's feathers, the fragments of her memories with the help of theDimensional Witch, Kurogane, Fai, Mokona Modoki, and other people they met along the way.
  • This is an excellent show! I wqould love to see more of it and i hope that there is another season!

This ia an awesome show! I love it! It is one of the best shows I have seen yet! Romance and adventure, one of my favorite shows! I hope there is a new season! I want to know what happens when they find all the feathers. I want to know if Sakura ever, somehow, remembers Syoaran. I want to know what happens with Syoaran and Sakura's relationship. I want to know what happens to Fye. I want to know if Kurogane ever gets back to his home country. I want to know what happens when he returns home after his long journey. I think it should be continued whether with a movie or another season i think it should eb continued so that all those unanswered questions can be answered. I really hope that it is continued. This is a great series!
  • I started watching Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle and i was HOOKED. I think it is one of the best shows ever!

There is a good amount of action and adeventure, yet there is still always some comic relief from Fai or Mokona. There is a wonderful storyline and plenty of mystery surrounding all the characters. There is also a good variety of characters. Skaura is a little boring at the beginning of the journey, but that's because she is passed out because she is dying. so ya cna t blame her. If she wasnt passed out and dying there would be no story, plus we get to see more of sakura as the story contiues and her memories are returned helping to restore her personality. It is always fun to watch. It has had a few fillers but most were all very good and exciting. I find it always leaves some questions unanswered but just enough to keep you watching. It's not anoying like LOST (which i have stopped watching)I am very excited for he OVA's to be released starting in Novemeber 2007, and Tsubasa is an excellent show with more danger and adventure to come! Long live Tsubasa! If Tokyo Revelations follows the TRC manga....It's Going TO Be One Heck Of A Ride!!!!
  • This promising Anime doesn't live up to the quality of it's Manga version.

I've enjoyed reading many Tsubasa Cronicles mangas. They ofered a good balance of story and action. The Anime, unfortunately isn't near as good.

I seems to focus too much on the relationship between Sayoran and Sakura, while Fye and Kurogane seem to have been comepletely forgoten by the creator unless it's to add some comic relief.

The artists style of drawing fairly simple looking characters has a certain charm to in the manga. But the style didn't move well to the Anime and now the characters look too simplistic when compared to most Animes out there.

Th action scenes were my bigest disapointment in this show. Compare ANY action scen from the Manga to the one in the Anime version, and you'll know what I'm talking about, the action in the Tsubasa Anime is just to slow, while in the Manga, you noticed the charcter were in more heated battle. Which could also be due to the fact that the style didn't move well from Manga to Anime.

Overall: Read the Manga, it's just... better.
  • Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, also known as Chronicle of the Wings, is an ongoing manga series by Clamp, which is currently being serialized in Shônen Magazine.

Sakura is the princess of Clow Country, which is ruled by her older brother, King Tôya. The High Priest of Clow Country, Yukito, immediately realizes that Sakura's "wings" were the manifestation of her soul and memories; without them, she will die. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran must journey to retrieve her wings' feathers, the fragments of her memories.Yukito sends Syaoran and the unconscious Sakura to the Dimensional Witch, Yûko, who is one of the main characters in xxxHolic. There he meets Kurogane, a rough-mannered ninja banished from his world by Princess Tomoyo, and Fay D. Flourite, a magician who fled his world to avoid King Ashura. Each of them must pay with what he values most in order to gain the power to cross dimensions. For Kurogane, it is his sword Ginryû, and for Fay, it is the tattoo on his back which regulates his control of his magic. (Fay later reveals that he still possesses magic, but has sworn not to use it without the tattoo on his back.) Syaoran, on the other hand, must pay with his relationship with Sakura: even if he is able to retrieve all of her memories, she will never remember anything about him or their relationship. (This sacrifice also pays Sakura's "toll" to Yûko, because what Sakura values most are her memories of and with Syaoran.) Only when the three agree to her terms does Yûko present them with the power to cross dimensions; a white creature named Mokona Modoki. While traversing through worlds to find Sakura's feathers, the four travellers and Mokona are forced to overcome many dangers and opponents, some of whom are figures from Syaoran's past who wish to collect Sakura's feathers for their own reasons as they are seen to be objects that hold great power.
  • I dont know this feels like Some Fanfiction of Card Captor Sakura then another anime along with some extra elements

Card Captor Sakura a Big hit alright but what about this? Is it any good?

If you did watch Card Captor then most Characters would be very Familiar and along with Characters from other shows. Story is Familiar to another anime as well I mean Collecting the Feathers that came from a Girl? And most episodes seem ensipred by other animes and also environments, missions and even Stories. Pretty much like Placing different characters in the Same story thats been told before.

Oh though merits like getting SakuraXSyaoran fans do get a satisfactory in this anime and getting different stories in one anime is a good thing. It needs more originality in most elements because it seems borrowed or just an extra anime on Card Captor
  • I like this anime.......

TSUBASA Reservoir Chronicle, I give it a ten, that's my current favourite anime. The genre is adventure, fantasy, romance and science fiction. The story is about a boy called Syaoran who wants to become an archeologist, and Sakurs, a princess from the Clow Kingdom, are childhood friends with a close relationship. On a fateful night, Sakura lost all her memories as a result of a conspiracy to obtain her powers. In order to regain her memory, Syaoran seeks help from the witch, Yuuko. Yuuko tells Syaoran that he has to travel from one alternate reality to another to collect fragments of Sakura's memory. However, the price to travel from one alternate reality to another is even if Sakura regains her memory, she will have no recollection of Syaoran. And the exciting journey is begins. Anyway, I love adventure and fantasy genre. That's why it becomes 1 of my favourite anime. :D
  • Sakura is the princess of Clow Country, which is ruled by her older brother, King Tôya.Her childhood friend Syaoran is a young archaeologist.Sakura is revealed to have strange powers when she has a vision of a mysterious symbol, places she has never seen.

Note: that many of the character are cross over form other manga: Note: if you get confuse please read the other cross over manga. such as xxxHolic and Cardcaptor Sakura. Many chacter are introduce so take note: Pay attention. Also note that many chacters are cross cover form the other manga. The sound track in amazing.
  • Syaoran and Sakura are childhood friends and fall in love. Sakura's memories are suddenly scattered and Syaoran, along with two other travelers, Fai(Fye) and Kurogane, search for her memories in other dimensions to save Sakura.

This is a great show. There are many differences from the manga, and alot of filler in the show, but if you haven't read the manga, you dont have to worry! I didn't read it till I finished season two, so I didnt know what was missing. I thouroghly enjoyed the anime and I like the manga. I am pretty sure season three is coming soon, in April actually, and I think it will get a lot darker and angsty. Fai's past still hasnt been revealed in the manga, so I dont know if we will learn anything about him in the next season. I hope there is less filler. Overall, I still love this show and will watch season three, and have re-watched the first two seasons.

  • Tsubasa Chronicle is a show based off Cardcaptor Sakura's characters, along with other anime, but has absolutely nothing to do with the plots of the other animes. There's magic, romance, and action involved in this show, which makes it the perfect anime.

Tsubasa Chronicle is absolutely fabulous. It's the most interesting show I've ever encountered. I give it a perfect ten. The graphics are pretty good, the storyline is totally original, and we've seen the characters from other animes, which makes us familiar with them and their personalities, and for the ones we don't know, it gives us a chance to learn more about them and how they interact with the other characters.

I also love how they mixed all sorts of elements into the story. They put romance, action, humour, magic, and tragedy all in one story. Another fantastic part is how they come up with all these different worlds. After thinking up maybe 3 or 4 worlds, I'd be stumped after that! I can't wait to see what's going to happen in the end! Season Two has just ended and I'm itching to find out what happens next. What we saw on the first episode of season one makes me ponder what's going to happen in the last season. Ah! I'm so excited!
  • It's an action/adventure, sci-fi anime with a romance plot to it. Basically, Clamp put together all of the characters of their anime. Creating this. It's something that keeps getting better and better. It brings together old characters with old ones.

It's one of those anime that has you on your feet, begging for the next episode to come faster. It's a slow-paced, action filled show with it's own edginess and the slow, sad theme to it which makes it a great show. It's theme and music support it beautifully along. With a combination of all previous Clamp animes, it brings them together into a new, sci-fi world, and gets it on a big scale. This is a great show for any of a serious obsession of anime. Those wanting to quench their lust for anime should definitely watch the show.
  • It's about a guy who tries to help his "friend" by getting her feathers, which hold her memories. He travels world to world trying to save her, but she won't remember him of their past life.

A great show that is getting more popular everyday. It's one of the best anime I ever seen, maybe even the best! It's pretty a good show. Every episode has it's own special way to get viewers to watch more. It has love, action, adventure, everything a anime should need. I recommend everybody watch becasue it's really, really, really good. This anime is going to be the best, and I hope this shows keeps going on and on. It's sad and happy at the same time. Again, I hope a lot of people watch this is anime becasue its so great!
  • Captures the spirit of adventure well. A must-see.

Tsubasa Chronicle is a great anime filled with action and adventure.

What I like best about the show is the adventure aspect. From the plot, it's easy to see why Tsubasa Chronicle has so much potential. It's full of parallel worlds, each one a mystery to explore and uncover, spanning time and space.

In true Shounen fashion, there are a bunch of cool swordfights and battles involving magic.

The characters are well-defined and awesome. My favorite has to be Syaoran: a hero with an iron will, sacrificing life and limb for the one he truly loves. The runner-up would be Sakura: friendly, warm, and cute. Faye and Kurogane are also cool.

If there is a negative thing about Tsubasa Chronicle, it's that the story unravels slowly. There are still many things I don't understand (i.e. who's been watching them all this time?) and they still haven't been clarified. I would've expected the story to move along faster, but sometimes TC lacks focus.

Nevertheless, I really enjoy this show.

  • This anime is great it takes all my fav characters and puts them into one.

I love this anime. It was hard to see Card Captor Sakura end. So it's great that Tsubasa has started. This anime is awesome but also sad. All the characters relationships and pasts keep this show going for me. I love to see what memories Sakura gets back next. Syaoran has to have a strong heart to have to go though everything he's been through. And that why i love him so much.:) If you have never cried while watching this then you must be crazy. Go Syaoran and Sakura!!!
