  • TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes was a good special, but a lousy series.

    3.0
Hosted by Dick Clark and Ed McMahon, TV Bloopers and Practical Jokes was just that, a one hour long gag real of flubbed lines and constant retakes split by horribly stupid practical jokes played on second rate celebreties.

The show was originally a TV special and allowed fans a little peak behind the scenes of some of their favorite TV shows. The prodcers had a ton of clips to choose from and chose the very best. It was genuinely entertaining and quite popular.

The problems arrived when the show became a series. The truly interesting bloopers were quickly used up and the show went downhill almost immedeately thereafter. Despite all the canned laughter and stupid, overqrought practical jokes there was no saving this show and it quickly ran its course.
