dimakosrou

It's undeniable truth that True Blood is a show made for entertaining purposes, for popcorn-level fan. But "when" is the upcoming moment the show just becomes way too convenient or even ridiculous? The True Blood Poster Bracket Round 1 (A and B)
TV posters have become one of my favorite ways to show my appreciation for a good television show. Some shows have gone out of their way to create a considerable collection of great posters (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Fringe have the largest number of unique non-character posters I've been able to find). In the case of True Blood I was able to track down a total of 58 different posters for this show (thank you HBO!) and I do indeed have one of them on my wall. Before we begin with the giant 64 team bracket - broken down into 4 mini brackets (A, B, C, D) for file size reason - a few notes on my overall thoughts on the True Blood posters.

Seeding is based on my personal preferences - please feel free to address my mistakes in the comments.

Individual character posters were created for three season ...Read more

The True Blood Poster Bracket Sweet 16
Thanks to everyone who voted in Round 1 and 2! Here are a few fun notes from Round 2

1) After having several posters win with over 90% of the vote in Round 1, not a single poster in Round 2 received 90% of the vote in its matchup. The highest vote total was for the Season 4 Red Character Combo poster (Bracket A #3) with 89% of the vote in its matchup.

2) None of the Season 5 character posters have survived into the Sweet 16

3) While the top 4 seeds remain alive in Bracket A, Round 2 featured 7 upsets in the other 12 matchups.

4) All four of the #1 seeds are still alive, while the lowest seed remaining is the #10 seed in Bracket D (Season 3 Pam)

5) The closest matchup in Round 2 was between Season 2 posters for Jason and Bill with ...Read more

The True Blood Poster Bracket Round 2
Thanks to everyone who voted in Round 1! Here are a couple of notes from Round 1:

1) 5 of the 26 matchups were extremely lopsided with the winner getting more than 90% of the voted (Bracket A #3, Bracket A#4, Bracket B #1, Bracket B #2, and Bracket C #1)

2) The highest vote getter was Bracket A #4 - the Color Red Character combo poster with 97% of the vote in its matchup

3) The closest matchup came in Bracket D between the Season 3 Character poster for Jessica narrowly beating out the Season 3 Character poster for Sookie by 53% to 47%

4) You (as a group) disagreed with the seedings in 6 of the 26 Round 1 matchups with the most egregious example coming in Bracket C where the #13 seed upset the #4 seed.

5) Despite my complaint that I felt that both of Pam ...Read more

Thanks to everyone who has voted in Rounds 1 - 5. After close to two months we have narrowed down the choices for our favorite True Blood poster from 58 to the final 2. On a personal note I initially mentioned when this all started that I actually have a True Blood poster on my wall - it looks like my preferences match yours as my poster remains in the running (Eric Season 2). If you're interested in how we got here please check out the previous rounds of our bracket.

Vampires not only exist, but the entire world knows about them. Since a Japanese scientist's invention of synthetic blood, vampires have progressed from legendary monsters to fellow citizens overnight. And while humans have been safely removed from the menu, many people remain apprehensive about vampires living amongst them in Louisiana. In the southern town of Bon Temps, a local barmaid named Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) understands what it's like to be an outcast. Cursed with the ability to listen in on people's thoughts, she's also open-minded about the integration of vampires. She is especially intrigued by Bill Compton(Stephen Moyer), a handsome 173-year-old living up the road. But as Sookie is drawn into a series of mysteries surrounding Bill's arrival in Bon Temps, that tolerance will be put to the test. Other town residents include Sookie's best friend Tara (Rutina Wesley), her slow-witted older brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and her shape-shifting boss Sam (Sam Trammell). Six Feet Under's creator Alan Ball created this sexy horror show based on the novels by Charlaine Harris.
