I'm very confused as to how this episode was rated so highly by many viewers. This was just awful! Probably the worst in the series. Where is the Sci Fi in this? It's just a talking doll and we have a predictable happy ending. No twists, no excitement. A boring office story with a talking doll where the good guy wins in the end. Is that the reason for the high ratings? Because the good guy won? I think you could get the same result by watching an after school special on PBS. This episode is a disgrace to the Sci Fi genre.moreless

    • Host: (opening narration) Charlie Stickney has never had quite enough confidence to stand up for himself. But today is different. Today is a day of reckoning, a test of character, a battle of wills, thanks to a very unusual toy made in The Twilight Zone. Edit
    • Host: (closing narration) By listening to that little voice, Charlie Stickney won the battle of the wills with his boss and with himself. Another success story courtesy of... (taps Mr. Motivation's head) Mr. Motivation: ...The Twilight Zone. Edit
