Definitely not one of the better episodes in the series. And one certainly wonders why this one needed a 2-part episode. Basically the story is revealed and "developed" within the first few minutes. And thus we must watch the overly-done quest for unrequited love for the rest of the episode. *Yawn* And no good climax to this episode as we have in so many of the other Twilight Zone (2002) episodes. Fortunately, this is one of the bottom of the barrel episodes and most of the series is much better than this. Was this one made during a writers strike? Hmm..moreless

    • The movie that Tyler is watching when he's on the phone with Buddy is Jim Carrey's movie The Mask. Edit
    • When Tyler tells Buddy about the nature of the sleazy lawer, and his power to read thoughts at the same time, he confesses his power to Buddy in front of Evergreen Cemetary. "Evergeeen" is a title of the first episode of The Twilight Zone (although as this episode was produced first, "Evergreen" would have been a later episode.) Edit

    • Host: (opening narration) Tyler Andrew Ward, a telephone linemen and charter member in the fraternity of lonely dreamers. Tyler is about to test what he wishes for to the breaking point and beyond. You might say what you're about to see is impossible. Probably in most places, but not here in The Twilight Zone. Edit
