    • QUOTES (1)

      • Log Lady intro:

Miscommunication sometimes leads to arguments, and arguments sometimes lead to fights. Anger is usually present in arguments and fights. Anger is an emotion, usually classified as a negative emotion. Negative emotions can cause severe problems in our environment and to the health of our body.

Happiness, usually classified as a positive emotion, can bring good health to our body, and spread positive vibrations into our environment. Sometimes when we are ill, we are not on our best behavior. By ill, I mean any of the following: physically ill, emotionally ill, mentally ill, and/or spiritually ill.

    • NOTES (6)

      • To achieve bizarre traveling effect at the beginning of this episode, director Todd Holland placed a pin-hole camera inside an actual piece of title and slowy spiraled out.
During this scene, Holland overlapped a number of distorted sounds including a young girl (presumably Laura) saying "Daddy". However, some of the dialog he chose came too close to the mystery and he was asked to remove certain pieces from the final cut.

      • Director Todd Holland went on to several other quirky and popular shows, including being one of the driving forces behind the hit comedy Malcom in the Middle.

      • Neilson Rating: 8.4/??, Number 71 for the week.

      • Fumio Yamaguchi is actually Piper Laurie. The producers went as far as to publish a fake biography for Fumio Yamaguchi, to fool critics.

      • Madchen Amick, Dana Ashbrook, James Marshall and Everett McGill do not appear in this episode.

      • A.K.A. "Laura's Secret Diary"

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Louie: I think the Eagle has landed.
Quotes the famous statement made by Neil Armstrong when the Apollo 11 Lunar Module (the Eagle) landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, "Houston, Tranquility Base Here. The Eagle has landed."
