    Additionally, I'm glad that FWWM attenuated many of the sillier aspects of the television series... which I always felt were concessions that David Lynch had to make in the interest of holding the attention of an American network television audience. Fire Walk With Me is not without flaws but I think the degree to which it was critically lashed was unfair.

    I think it was very good and explained many many things but they could have done so much more with it.

    FWWM was great because of the difference in tone. What I think tends to frustrate people is that it doesn't wrap up cliffhangers from the series. But I loved all of the prequel stuff, especially all of the duality stuffin "Deer Meadow" and the other FBI agents (Isaak, Sutherland, and Bowie).
