A very brilliant Alan episode tonight. Not the funniest episode I've ever seen (although Charlie BEING IRRATIONAL and shaking the night stand was genius) but a good story was told from start to finish and the behavior from Alan was not only what you would expect from him at this stage of the series, but something I have done by myself, trying to get out of paying for anything whenever possible.

The stuff with Jake and Rose was forgettable, but even though you saw it coming Rose sneaking up on Jake and making him jump was funny. Fine, fine episode.moreless

hehehe, another fine episode! the chemical between them is oh the roof =) jake's home alone wasnt that good, but it was fine. The scene in bathroom has his joke, but not so good, the 5 thousand dollars was a pretty funny scene, but what keeps it coming is the small little jokes that goes thru the entire episode, nice and funny, keep it going =)

Yes, it is shown in this episode just how cheap Alan can actually be. He actually waits in the bathroom for at least 25 minutes as soon as he hears that the check is on it's way. Of course, Charlie has had enough of Alan always skimping out on the checks and bills and all that other stuff so he actually follows Alan into the bathroom and is hell bent on making sure that Alan is there to pay for the bill. It's fun watching Charlie interact with Alan during this little scene because Charlie is basically torturing Alan throughout the scene. But in the end, the girls end up leaving shortly after Charlie and Alan go into the bathroom and a person sitting across from Charlie and Alan during dinner payed for the bill but took the girls back to his house so Alan once again gets out of paying for the bill.

The other part of this episode showed Jake finally being trusted enough to stay home on his own. This part wasn't really fun, just more interesting to watch because it shows just how fat Jake actually is. He is litterally shoveling down all the food in the house as he is watching a horror movie. Rose ends up coming in and scaring Jake which was really the only funny part of this little scene.

The final part of this episode showed just why Alan is so cheap and not because he is broke, which he is, but because he wants to be ready for when he gets old and has to take care of himself. He is actually carrying about 5,000 worth of small bills undernieth his lamp shade and Charlie finds this. At the end though, Charlie just ends up not caring anymore about Alan being so cheap and the final scene shows Alan dreaming of what his future is going to be like and it shows him working at a movie theatre with his fat and stupid son Jake. This part I thougt was pretty funny to watch.
