I like how Alan is driving but won't let Jake drive because they're carrying a fragile clock worth a lot of money. Alan plans to sell the grandfather clock to buy a new car. He's planning to buy a Lexus convertible and says that Jake can have his Volvo station wagon but Jake isn't interested. Then the grandfather clock falls out of the station wagon and shatters to pieces all over the street. The crash is just so funny, I couldn't stop laughing! Now that clocks gone, Jake asks if he can drive now.

If Alan was going to buy a Lexus convertible then that clock had to be worth around $50,000 because Lexus convertibles cost between $40,000 to $50,000.

I think it would've been funnier if Jake had been excited to have the station wagon and said that he was going to repaint it and put details on it and when the clock fell out Jake could've said to Alan, "You're still giving me this car, right?"

Okay, so did this episode really need the fart jokes? The scenes between Allan & Jake were just awful, and I really couldn't believe what I was watching when Jake and Allan started to have a fart contest which resulted in Allan pooping in his pants.

But Charlie's story line did save the episode. He's still bent out of shape over Chelsea, so he decides to get high with Berta which causes him to hallucinate.

The scene with Rose & Berta was definitely the best scene of the episode. The clock getting destroyed somehow was predictable though. Fair episode overall.moreless

I have been looking forward to this episode ever since I learned about it, mainly because Charlie's ex-girlfriends would be coming back for a guest appearance. The entire thing with Charlie getting high along with Berta was just hilarious for words. Big thumbs up for Martin Mull in his guest role - he's always very funny. As for the girlfriends visits, it was nice seeing all of them because it brought back a lot of crazy flashbacks. The best part, of course, was Rose. I wanted to see her for a long time. As always, she turned out to be more crazy than ever. I only wish they'd find a way to bring her back the following season either on an extended recurring role or in a regular, just like she used to have.

As for the other part of the episode involving Jake and Alan, it was okay, but sadly sometimes I find myself not being able to enjoy anything that has Jake in it. I wish he could have stayed a kid during all of these seasons. However, Alan provided a lot of laughs, so it was okay.moreless

Apart from the ridiculous scene with Alan and Jake having a fart contest (someone must have watched the Peter/Michael Moore one from Family Guy on YouTube) this was a pretty good episode of Two and a Half Men. The end sequence, while predictable was still a great moment, and the scene with Martin Mull returning as the pharmacist produced about eight truly laugh out loud moments. Mull's been all over TV the past few years on Gary Unmarried, Til Death and this program and hopefully he gets some more work next year, with the former two now canceled.

It was a nice touch getting a lot of Charlie's past girlfriends for this high sequence. Good way to close out a pretty tumultuous year for the show.moreless
